SteemAlive Presents: 9 City Curator accounts ahead of the June 1 launching date.
Introduction
We are delighted to announce that 7 City Curator accounts have been created and handed over to the respective city Coordinators in preparation for June 1, 2021. The city coordinator program launched by Steemalive is another project designed to help the community achieve more curation power and encourage investment in Steem. Community members in each of the 11 cities we have, can voluntarily save some steem each week by sending them to the city curator account. The city coordinator powers up the savings at the end of each week. These small savings which will run for a year, will eventually help each city build some voting power in the account. The account will be used to curate posts of city members that participate in the program. You can read more about the city curator program here.
The City Curator Accounts
We have 10 city groups in SteemAlive. You can see the cities and their coordinators below:

The remaining 1 account would be set up before the end of today after we have made contact with the city corrdinator for Owerri.
What Next?
We did our usual weekly class on 2 days ago where we looked at strategies to achieve up to 1m Sp through various projects in the next 1 year. We focused on how the City Curator project would play a role in fulfilling that vision. At the end, our members were excited and we are happy to announce that some have started buying Steem to support the city curator project. A few even promised of sending 1 year savings at once. We are all eager to see where this project would lead us, although we hope it will be successful just as @save2soar.
We are calling on all SteemAlive members to start sending their savings to the curator accounts of their city, ahead of the June 1, 2021 launching date. The bigger, the better!
The city curators will start powering up the savings each weekend after the launch. And, we hope to do this for at least 1 year.
Conclusion
We thank all our City Coordinators for supporting this project and working hard in other ways to build the community. We are also grateful to the Steemit team for supporting us. This program will not only give us more voting power to support our growing members, but it will also encourage investment in steem.
Together we can achieve greater things in the community and take Steem to the moon. Thank you all.
