Hello, fellow steemians, and the admin. How's everyone today? I would like to share with you the following six health benefits of Lemons, based on reliable evidence:

1. Lemons Maintain A Healthy Heart

Vitamin C is a derivative of lemons and of course a lemon gives about 31mg of vitamin C.
Aside from vitamin C, which is believed to be good for the heart, the fiber and plant compounds found in lemons possibly to a large extent reduce some health dangers associated with the heart.
For instance, plant compounds in lemons, such as hesperidin and diosmin, have been confirmed to reduce cholesterol. Check out the picture below.

4. Lemons Defend The Body Against Anaemia

Anaemia, as a result of iron deficiency is very common. This lack of blood usually happens when a person does not derive sufficient iron from his diets. Lemons consist of mostly iron that inhibit anaemia by enhancing the body's absorption of iron from foods, including plant foods.

5. Lemons Lessen The Risk Of Cancer

A balanced food rich in fruits and vegetables may assist in impeding or forestalling the growth of some cancers. For example, according to one research team, plant compounds such as beta-cryptoxanthin and hesperidin, which are found in lemons even forestalled the development of malignant tumors in the tongues, lungs, and colons of rodents.
