Introduction

Welcome to a new week and a new challenge in the week 3 of the engagement contest.I have seen a lot of entries across all communities already and I wish to join the challenge.Business Review.I will try the much I can to review a local business in my city which is Aba city,Nigeria.

What is the physical address of the shop/market

For this contest,I want to review Market Square Supermarket which is situated here in Aba city at #9 Factory road Aba just along the Aba-owerri road.The location is a very busy and popular area which has other businesses like cine 21,kilimanjaro fast food,crunchies fast food and many banks.

It is easy to locate the position of Market Square Supermarket-once get to Osisioma park,enter a tricycle going to main park and tell the driver to stop you at #9 factory road.If you have got to the Aba main park already,just enter a tricycle going to Osisioma park and tell the driver to drop you at #9 factory road;that's where you will locate Market Square Supermarket here in Aba city.

There are plenty of things sold in Market Square Supermarket which include but not limited to drinks,beverages, toiletries,bread, snacks,oil, spices, detergents, electronics and plenty of other things.So it is difficult to get disappointed or not to get any of the items that you wish to buy.They always over stock the facility such that you won't miss whatever you came to buy.Let me write about some of the items.

Products Captured

FRUIT JUICES

This is one of the products in stock at the supermarket.The fruits have different varieties made by different companies.One thing is that all of them are sweet in their own way.Some of the brands as you can see are chi Exotic,happy Hour,Frudi and Rubicon.Now as per the prices,the prices difer a little from each other.

CHIPS and NUTS

Another important product sold here at market square is chips of different types which could be plantain chips,potato chips,cocoyam chips.Also in this shelf are nuts like groundnuts, peanuts,cashew nuts and other delicious nuts.The groundnuts and cashew nuts are packed in clean stoppered bottles.While the peanuts are in sachet packets,with the chips packaged in plastic containers.This arrangement makes the items to look appetizing and safe.

MILK

The products sold here are too numerous.This section is where you can milk of any type.Whether it is powered milk or liquid milk.Whether bigger sachets or smaller sachets.I have always preferred to buy the smaller sachets so that I can take just one at a meal.

As you can see from the picture,there are milk made by different companies which are on display here on the shelf.More captured is a product called Dano milk which has the normal milk in sachet,the Dano Slim also in sachet and the normal Dano milk in big tin.There are also Dano milk in smaller sachets although it was captured in the picture.

FRUIT/CAN DRINK

For lovers of fruit drinks and can drinks.This section is for you.Here they stock canned drinks like can malt,can Pepsi,can 7up etc.There is also can fruit drinks like can orange drink,pineapple drink, strawberry drink, cranberry drink,mango drink and others.

This section is the most tempting because once you get there,you will automatically become thirsty.Ordinarily,I didn't want to buy anything at this section but I was tempted to buy the cranberry drink to satisfy my thirst and I did enjoy the sweet taste.

COOKING OIL

Cooking oil of different types and sizes are not found wanting here.They have soya oil, groundnut oil,olive oil, vegetable oil,red oil (for cooking) and the rest.The prices vary according to product and the size of the container.I actually bought a power vegetable oil(75ml) at a price of #1425 which equals 14.5 steem.As we all know,oil could be used for cooking,frying,baking and other things.Let me stop here because of time and to do more engagements on other people's review.

Yes.
I bought just a few things although I wasn't much prepared to buy.I was passing along the supermarket area on the 14th of June-just a few days ago and I decided to drop by.This is what I bought.

•a can of tomi cranberry drink
•75ml power vegetable oil.

Rate the market/shop based on your shopping experience or what you already know

I am going to rate market square supermarket based on what I know about other supermarkets, markets and shops here in Aba city.I will do the accessement based on the following factors.👇

•Location:
The location of the supermarket is so good and attractive.It is at the heart of the city.Anyone who comes to Aba city must pass through Aba Owerri road and then factory road-which is the location of market square supermarket.Another beauty of the location is that there lots of fast food restaurants around it,so some one can easily buy from the supermarket after eating.There is also a cinema in the same area so viewers can buy things after seeing movies.

•Price:
The prices of items or products at market square supermarket is very pocket-friendly.The prices are less compared to what you buy in other markets.I buy items from the general market and I can attest that it is better to buy at the market square supermarket.

•Quality:
In terms of quality.Whatever you buy there is of the best quality.I haven't bought or heard of anyone that complained of buying a fake product at market square.To sweeten it,they give warranty for electronic appliances and other products when you buy there.

•Security and Customer service
Their security is top-notch with CCTV positioned inside and outside the facility so as to monitor activities as well as any possible form of criminality.

On the other hand,their customer service is mouthwatering.If you are confused on where to get any product,just ask of the attendants and they will gladly direct you.At the payment stand is also made of decent and friendly attendants.

Conclusion

This contest is an opportunity to promote local businesses around our various cities.I am sure I will learn about various markets,shops,minimarts,super markets and other businesses scattered all over Nigeria and other parts of the world where steemians abound.More engagements which is the main aim of the contest would also be witnessed.
