STEEEMALIVE CITY CORDINATOR'S REPORT FOR PERIOD 1ST AUGUST TO 7TH AUGUST FOR ABA CITY||OUR FIRST MEET UP FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST

Introduction

The Steemalive weekly Cordinator's Report has been a project that has come to stay as it serves as an avenue to highlight the activities of Cordinators in the various cities where Steemit members stay.It is a summary of Steemit activities in the city for the week under review.

As the City Cordinator of Aba city,Nigeria.Permit me to make the report for the period 01/08/2021 through 07/08/2021... Within the period covered by this report,I was involved in the following👇

Training and Mentoring Newbies

Apart from recruitment.Training is a very important aspect of Steemit.It is difficult for a newbie to learn how to write,post and format his/her work without proper guidance.
To this end,I am always present at the Steemit Training Center here in Aba city from 9:00 am till 4:30 pm to train newbies on how to write and post.Old members also come around to be helped in one area or the other of which I am available to assist.I helped @nokas @youngrandma @onyibest to make new and decent posts within the week.

Recruitment

The need for recruitment cannot be over-emphasized.We like to have as many as possible newbies to join Steemit here in Aba city.Within the week under review,I registered @chibest20 at the training center.She will make her Introduction post soonest, although she wanted to be an investor on Steemit.She has already bought close to 200 steem.More persons will join on in this new week.

Verifying Steemalive Community Members

Inorder to maintain quality and plagiarism-free contents in Steemalive community.I Continued from where I stopped last week to verify members who comply to making detailed posts with justify alignment and proper center heading in our community.

Physical Meet up

For this new month of August.We had our first Physical meet up at the Aba Steemit Training Center.The Weather wasn't quite good as so it affected the number of attendees.

About to Start

In anycase,the meeting was a successful as we discussed Important issues regarding how to take Steemit to the next level here in our city.In the course of the meeting we discussed the following points:👇

• How to make Quality Post:
  Under this agenda I emphasized on the need to use justify alignment and center heading as well as writing a week detailed and plagiarism-free contents on Steemalive.

• How to Increase our SteemPower
  I mentioned that SteemPower is like a fuel that will help to improve our influence on Steemit and also help to support the community through upvotes.Among the ways I discussed that will help to increase our SteemPower include but not limited to posting regularly, writing the Cryptoacademy homework, participating in the monthly SPUD contest and buying steem with our local currency (fiat) for power up purposes.

• How to build our Individual Account
  Lastly we discussed how to build our individual and Community account so that we can support our members with upvotes without always relying on the steemcurator accounts for upvotes.

Just After the Meeting

The meeting ended around 4:30 pm and entertainment was shared to the attendees.It was basically light refreshment of soft drinks and snacks which cost around 20 Steem.The members in attendance are @focusnow @samuel20 @ninapenda @uzoma24 @val123 @rightway270 @nokas @deben I appreciate them all for coming around and hope to see other members turn up in our next gathering.

Plans for Next Week

For the coming week.We have to host another meeting to consolidate on what we discussed earlier.

We are also expecting to recruit and mentor new members to join Steemit.I will be available at the training centre to attend to new and old members in Aba city.

Conclusion

The need to promote Steemit and Steemalive community remains a task that most be done.I will always make effort to promote the community using every legal possible means.I also wish to thank our members for always posting in Steemalive community and complying by our rules.The roles of @focusnow and @ninapenda cannot be overemphasized as they are part of the engine room of SteemAlive and Steemit in Aba city.
