What causes Malaria?

Malaria is a very serious sickness caused by bites from an infected Anopheles mosquito. A mosquito is infected when it carries a plasmodium parasite, the leading cause of malaria infection. This Parasite is injected into the human blood through just one mosquito bite.

After this bite, the parasite is transported to the liver where it matures and after a few days, it begins to affect the human red blood cells, from there, it bursts and starts showing some symptoms in the body.

Additionally, since malaria is being transmitted through the blood it can be gotten through :

  • Transfusion of an infected blood
  • Sharing of infected Syring or needle
  • Transplant of an infected organ e.g. liver
  • What are some symptoms you experience when you have Malaria?

There are many visible symptoms that everyone (including You and I) experiences whenever malaria is around the corner. They are:

  • Regular tiredness or fatigue
  • Headache
  • High Fever
  • Profuse sweating
  • Vomiting
  • Abdominal Pains
  • Weakened Muscles
  • How common is Malaria in your City or Street?

Sad to say, Malaria is now a normal part of life in my city, people now call it “Common Malaria” ignoring the various damages it causes to the human body.
In my area, it is no longer viewed as a disease and people ignorantly do not take the necessary drugs to cure themselves when infected and this leads them to be regular victims of this disease.

What are practical ways to prevent the spread of Malaria?

Fortunately, Malaria can still be prevented through 3 effective ways.

    Keeping a clean environment

Mosquitoes which are the main cause of Malaria breed in dirty environments, so, the first step to preventing malaria is keeping the environment clean.
This includes always making way for rainwater to flow out because when there are no good gutters for the outflow of water, it becomes stagnant and breeds mosquitoes.
Moreso, we need to dispose of refuse and sewage properly and not on major roads.

Use of Mosquito coils or nets

Mosquito coils are also very effective, their scents scare away mosquitoes. On the other hand, not everyone likes the scent. That is why mosquito nets are available to be used. It protects you from mosquitoes.

    Use of Anti-malaria drugs

Prevention, they say is better than cure. We have also come to notice this. Therefore, we need to be smart when dealing with our health. We should not wait till we start seeing symptoms before we take the necessary steps. Instead, we should go for regular check-ups and take the necessary anti-malaria drugs. This helps to keep the human body healthy.

Have you used any drugs to treat malaria effectively?

Of course, I have treated malaria with many good drugs.
Lumartem is a very effective drug that I have used to cure Malaria severally. It contains 24 drugs which can be taken for 3 days.
Chloroquine as well is a long know and very effective drug that cures Malaria which I have used to cure Malaria.

    Conclusion

No disease is normal including Malaria. Therefore, everyone needs to take the necessary steps to prevent Malaria. If it is contracted mistakenly, there’s no need to waste time. Let’s take the needed drugs to cure ourselves. Remember, Health Is Wealth.

Malaria isn’t a small disease people should play with it kill a lot of people every day and the best way they can do to protect their self from getting malaria is by cleaning their surroundings and sleep under a mosquito net.

Malaria is not a disease they should play with and thank you for sharing with us and I wish you all the best in this contest.

Mosquitoes are really dangerous and they are not suppose to leave with us but we humans still build there home close to ourselves and invite them and when they are close to us they must infect us with what they are carrying

    Yeah
It's not always avoidable but we keep trying

I enjoyed reading your post dear. It was full of facts and it shows that you have a knowledge of the topic. Malaria has come to stay in Africa because our actions such as allowing stagnant water, exposing ourselves to mosquito bite and dirty environment suggests such.

After this bite, the parasite is transported to the liver where it matures and after a few days,

This is very true. You have a great knowledge of the transmission process.
