The Diary Game - Long hours in the bank for an account opening (1st April 2022)

Hello steem lovers,

Happy new month to you all, we just stepped into the month of April. I would like to know your plans for steem in this new month. For me i have alot i want to do in this month but today is not the day to share it with you. Today i would be sharing with you about my diary for 1st of April 2022

Morning Activities

I woke up by 5:30am so excited because it was the first day of a new month, even though i had slept late. I stood up from my bed so i can have my prayers which lasted for 2hours. I took my time praising and appreciating God for the lives of my friends and family, for my health and for life. I also appreciated God for bringing steemit my way. There has been lots of changes in my life since i met steemit which am grateful for.

By 8am, i quickly went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and have my bath because i would be going out to visit a bank in other to open an account with them. I was done dressing up by 9am and was set to leave the house but on a second thought i decided to have breakfast because i have noticed that whenever i visit the bank on an empty stomach, the air condition in the bank always affects me, especially when i stand for a long time at the bank. I just feel like throwing up, i dont know if that happens to anyone?

My breakfast was Rice and plantain, i ate it with excitement and finally left the house by 10am.

It took me about 30minutes to get to the bank. The name of the bank i went to for an account opening is wema bank the branch located at the university of lagos Nigeria which we call Unilag

I got into the bank and when i looked i noticed the queue at the bank was not much so i was happy. A man walked up to me to ask what i needed. When i told him why i had come, he took me to another section of the bank and to my surprise i saw a lot of persons waiting to be attended to, i felt disappointed.

I waited in this other section of the bank for a while say about 1 hour and finally it got to my turn and i was taken into an office where i would be attended to by a lady. She was very polite and asked me to seat down. She asked for my vital personal information and gave me some forms to fill. While i was in the office i took a selfie of myself and the office. You can see that below.

I was done filling the forms and i gave them back to her. She took them and began the process of account opening. I had to wait for her to be done. While she was doing that, she asked me to download the bank application on my phone which i did, and she showed me how to use it.

She was done with the account opening by 1pm but she asked me to wait for an sms to get my account number so that i can process my atm card. I waited for 2 hour but the sms was not forth coming, i guess the bank network was poor. She begged me to be patience with them so i kept waiting.

By 3:30pm i was still at the bank, i got hungry and needed to eat. I stepped out of the bank in search of what to eat. I finally found a coca cola spot and i got in and ordered for food. While i was eating my food i received the bank sms i have been waiting for, for over 3hours. I was happy, so i quickly ate my food so i can return to the bank.

I went back to the bank and my atm card was processed but i could not get it because the said the one i wanted was not available. I was asked to return back on monday. I finally left the bank by 4:20pm. I took a bike home because i was tired and didnt want to meet traffic.

Night Activities

I got home around 5:20pm, had my bath and quickly went online(whatsapp) to reply my chats. I also login to my steemit account to check my notifications. I read some posts and made some comments then i went off.

By 7pm i was bored so i decided to read a soft copy book i have on my phone to keep me busy. Since we did not have power supply.

While i was reading, i was chatting with some friends on whatsapp. The weather became a bit cold showing signs that it was about to rain. I decided to go and sleep so that i can enjoy the weather. For some time now its usually hot. I finally went to bed by 9pm.
