LAGOS CITY STEEM ROAD SHOW DAY 6// PROMOTING STEEM IN THE UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS NIGERIA AND REGISTERED A NEW BIE //10% PAYOUT TO STEEMALIVE

I welcome you back to my blog, i know you all are are doing very well wherever you may be.

Steem road show is an initiative developed by our @steemalive community founder @focusnow to promote steem across the streets of the cities of Nigeria and beyond. This is done in groups. The volunteers chose a location and days for their promotions and promote steem by talking and educating people about steemit, get people signed up, help them with their achievement post and even mentor them.

So far it has been so good promoting steem on the streets of Lagos Nigeria with my team members.

OUR LOCATION

After our road show last week, my team decided that we needed to change location. We needed to promote steem to more young people and one of the best places to get them in the tertiary institutions. So my team members agreed we will be visiting one of the schools in lagos called University of Lagos in Lagos state. This week our promotion was different because we had to places we promoted steem in university of lagos.

While the second place we promoted steem to was front of Access bank in the university of lagos. As you can see from the picture above.

The two locations we choose inside the university are two good and strategic places where students gather in numbers. The first location which is unilag indoor sport complex is a place for sports, people come around for all kinds of sports especially on saturdays. While the second location which is Access bank is a place where students come to use the atm and to take pictures because of its beautiful environment. Even me i took pictures when i got there.

OUR ROAD SHOW PROPER

My team members @beautybb , @misterfab @ifyfaithfa @mimikaris106 @corcor and of course my self @ruthjoe met at the school gate and proceeded to promote steemit.

We got to our first location which was umilag sport complex and saw some young ladies and guess resting from their sporting exercise. I took permission from their leader and we mounted our banner there and began to promote steem to them.

It was quite interesting promoting steem to them because they loved the idea of the platform steemit and was really interested. Their leader even told us to come back next week so we can promote steem to the rest who didnt show up for their sports exercise. We got their contacts to follow them so they can sign up. I also met an old friend i lost contact with.

After we were done promoting steem to them, they left so happy and expectant to see us next weekend. We packed up our banner and left for our second location still in unilag.

When we got to our second location which was Access bank, we stationed our selves to promote steem to anyone who comes around there either to take pictures or to use the bank ATM services.

After positioning our selves, we waited for the students to come and indeed they came in their number. We promoted steem to them one by one. As you can see from the picture below, we were promoting steem.

I later met this guy who is a student and also into cryptocurrency trading. I told him about steem and he got excited. I told him the advantages he will get when he signs up on steem and immediately he brought out his phone and got signed up. His user name is @flashgist.

After that i proceeded to talk to more people that came around there. Everyone i spoke to had a positive response to me and they loved the platform steemit. I met this group of young part time students who were seated and some were taking pictures. I spoke to them about steemit, gave them fliers and they collected my contact to chat me up which some of them have done. Below is a picture of the ladies.

CONCLUSION

Promoting steem in university of lagos was realy interesting. I cant wait for the next time to do justice again. Special thanks to my team members for their hard work and team work.

After the promotion, we took pictures, discussed briefly and departed to our various homes.
