The final Rest of my father, Nnalue Edwin Madubueze, By @queensleey

It's well known that there's an end for every man. Even the Bible made us to understand in Ecclesiastes that there's a time for everything under the Earth... atime to be born and time to die. As men, we don't know when 'this time' will be but one thing is sure... there is a time stipulates for every man to rap up his or her activities in this world. That's why we need to prepare ourselves for that 'precious' day of the final rest.

You know, God's mercy is to whom He wishes. Some of us may see it as partial when we see wonderful things happening to others against natural beliefs. No wonder God says..."I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy". I have really seen the evidence of that statement and my father got it to the fullest.

It's not every day that we see people die old. We all aware of premature death here and there these days so, I see my father as one of those favoured by God with old age...96years is not a joke!

He called all his children for a meeting in Easter this year, April to be precised. He wanted to see all of us and we responded because he has never made such call. Without knowing the man is preparing for his departure. It's another blessing when you are given that opportunity to prepare for what lies ahead. He spoke to us one after the other....in the areas he thinks we need adjustments and tightened up all lose ends pertaining his family...he particularly told me he's happy with my husband because he's doing exactly what they agreed... taking care of me and kids... that I should thank him for him. Mm! That exertly was our last of seeing him because he died 18th July. It's obvious the man knew his time has come.

Some people don't believe in dreams and visions but it's real. Before my father died he told my older siblings that he has finished packing his bags...they understood but didn't tell us the younger ones. There were several visions of his passage from other extended family. One that my elder sister said a man in white visited her telling her to prepare our father that he will come back to pick him.
That was when we knew it's actually time. My brother has to question him about his faith ones again to make sure he's still intact....he told him that it's Jesus all the way!

There were so many accounts that I won't be able to give but the man was smiling the day his soul left his body.
So peaceful a death!

He's a man of peace and truth. Trustworthy and made us understand that life is what you give to it to make.... making and building people in the faith is his Paramount goal.
My father...I haven't gotten over his passage but God help me and show me mercy!

Our Thanksgiving after burial.

I can't stop thanking God who made that burial a success. Holding the cloud for us and giving our invites and us safe trip back to base after the whole thing. To Him be glorified for ever.

And thank you all for going through my post.
