Pineapple is called Ananas Comosus scientifically. It's tropical fruit, it's rich with different nutrients which are helpful to the body mechanism. When it's ripe the colour changes to yellow with a unique aroma. Pineapple can be consumed fresh it can also be processed into pineapple juice. One fresh pineapple of about 100 grams contains 86% of water, 50% calories, protein contains is about 13%, 1% of sugar fiber, Omega-3 and more. There are alot of health benefits in pineapple if taken regularly. Some of the essentials nutrients in pineapple;
Vitamins
Pineapple contains rich amount of vitamin C, vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps in the development of immune system. If you immune system is strong you will not easily get sick because immune system is like a fence built around your physical house. Pineapple also have large amount of copper. Copper plays a vital role in blood formation. Pineapple is enriched with vitamin B9. This is vitamin is responsible for tissue grow and for normal cell function. Remember life begins from cells. A healthy cell will definitely produced a healthy body.

Because of it rich content it's therefore good for those that are pregnant reason is that it helps in fortification of Bones due to the present of manganese content. It also helps in heathly gum and teeth.

But Pineapple is not really good for Pregnant women in their first trimester cos of its acidic nature, it's adviced they stay away from it cos it can cause miscarriage depending also on the quantity taken , but after the first trimester they are good to go.
