Immigration
Immigration is the process through which individuals become permanent residents or citizens of another country.
An Immigrant
An Immigrant is a person who lives in another country that he or she is not originally from. For example if a Nigerian citizen travels from here to London to Seattle down he or she is regarded as an immigrant most especially those that travel without their complete papers.
Reasons For Immigration
The reason why people leave their country to another country is that some people go in search of job opportunities while others move to join family members there or to study. In other words some people move in other to escape conflict persecution and terrorist just like the situation of insecurities here in Nigeria most of our Nigerian youths and older ones have already traveled in other to save their life and that of their family.
Some people also leave because of climate change or natural disasters most especially now that it's raining season some people will leave their house to stay somewhere else but in some cases like those Philippines are always streak with heavy wind blow making them to relocate. In other case some people leave their country to have a fresh start life to see if things will be different from his or her country.
Economic Opportunity of immigrants
Economic Opportunity is the previlage young people get such as education, training, guidance and connection required to successfully achieve economic security and independence. Unfortunately not all young people receive the. Same opportunities to unlock that potential and earn a living.
Problem Faced By Immigrants
- Language barrier
*Lack of employment opportunities - Housing
- Access to local service
- Transportation issues
- Cultural difference
*Access to medical service.
Most immigrants that travel without papers use to suffer a lot when they get there because even finding a place to sleep is a challenge on it own not to talk of getting a job so life is not really easy on them when they get there.
Conclusion
The process of immigrating is really not a easy this especially does that use the sea and land because most of them lost their lives in the process so before you take a decision on immigrating make sure to get all the necessary documents so it won't be too difficult when you get there.
