INTRODUCTION
Good day everyone, my name remains @peterabagi and I am most privileged and excited to bring you this report about our steem promotion activities which took place in the city of ABA Abia state Nigeria.
Steem promotion is what we do now not just to show appreciation to this platform that has added value to us but to add value to people by giving them steemit knowing what the people stand to gain.

HOW THE ROAD SHOW STARTED
According to the instructions of the ABIA STATE STEEMIT REPRESENTATIVE (SSR) @samuel20 all promoters are expected to gather at the steemit office here in Aba at 9am. Which most of us were able to follow the instructions and meet up.
At steemit office
After a brief questions and answer we decided to step out for the promotion proper so we took a few pictures and closed our office. The steemit office is located at number 208 Azikiwe Road Aba.
We boarded a tricycle and we choosed BATA Junction for our road show.
ROAD SHOW LOCATION
Firstly we actually choosed to do the road show at BATA JUNCTION but we could not find recruits considering the sun people didn't want to stand for any reason. BATA JUNCTION What3words
After several attempt to sign up recruit which failed we decided to look for a more active and populated area hence we moved to ABIA STATE POLYTECHNIC What3words
WE arrived Abia State Polytechnic in a ground style and immediately we started recruitment. We had a good score results as the school is full of young men and we men who are civilized and more inclined to technology .

Almost all the above mentioned recruits have done their achievement post. However some are still writing and are yet to post their achievement 1 post.
MENTORSHIP AND GUIDANCE FOR NEWBIE
All the above mentioned recruits whatapp numbers where collected and they have all been added to the what app steemit reception group.
In this group they have been taught how to make a good post on steemit yesterday by the SSR.
PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
The major problem we had was that some recruit wanted us to help the make their achievement 1 post, which means writing for them. This act was discouraged and we rather encouraged the recruits to do it themselves.
We also had some few net work and data challenges as students most times don't have internet or data in their phones which means we always had to hotspot them to make sure they are registered.
REFRESHMENT
After the stress of recruitment we had to go for some REFRESHMENT time out at chicken republic. For the refreshment we had some good chicken, fried rice baked beans and coke to push it down.
NEXT STEP
Our next road show will be massive which we all plan to be in attendance, the next road show should hold on the 16th of November, 2021.
CONCLUSION
Promoting steem has become our culture as a community and we are expecting more team members who will join us to promote steem.
We are looking up to more recruit scores not just recruiting but mentoring and guiding them to be become active members of steemalive community.

Seriously, we do have same challenges of people not having data on their phones, but I think the best thing to do is to be prepared so that it won't be a hindrance in signing them up. Normally, I try to make sure I have enough subscription before going for a road show, so that I can share my data with such people through Hotspot, with his, they won't have an excuse not to sign up.
