INTRODUCTION
The process of choosing a leader and putting him in office of leadership is what is referred to as elections in my country.
Nigeria my country has gone through alot of hard times, we are the strongest black Nation in Africa and indeed we have gone through thick and thin together as a country.
We were given independence as a country in 1960 by Frederick Lord Lugard. By 1963 we become a republic and we kept moving gradually. The first Governor was Azikiwe and the then priminister was TAFABALEWA.
This were all young and vibrant politcians who sacrificed so much to see that we have a country.
THE MILITARY REGIME
The military process of leadership in our country which started in 1966 started with the Nigerian Civil war. Nothing good added to our nation Nigeria in this season. We were fighting our selves and refused to develop when we were supposed to grow.
One of the military heads of state president olushegun Obasanjo tried twice to handover to a civilian government which his first attempt failed but his second attempt was successful.
In his first attempt shagari was made the first civilian president of Nigeria but was unfortunately eliminated by a military coup .
The democracy we are enjoying today our fathers suffered and paid for it even though it was not easy.
OUR MINDSET IDEOLOGY WHEN IT COMES TO ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA
We as a country are good at seeking for what we don't want to give. For instance

We want peace but we are not ready to give out peace. We want love but we don't give out love, we want hard working people but we are not hard working people. This is a wrong mindset we as a country must be willing to tear down.
We have to believe in something new beyond our normal, we can not do samething every year and expect a different result. We can not do same thing we do in elections every year and expect to see different results.
We say the wrong things about our elections and we want to see different results. If you believe elections will never be done rightly then it can never be done rightly.
WHAT SHOULD A PATRIOTIC CITIZEN DO WHEN IT COMES TO ELECTION
my room mate who conducted last year elections in Abia state.
A patriotic citizen is one who is willing and always participating in activities in his country. Elections are a time of showing patriotism for our country.
Elections are by the corners we aught to change the narrative this time or else allow the narrative change us for a life time.
Go and get your voters card or a voter Registration if you have not registered. This is because if you don't have a voter Registration then it will not be allowed to vote. Voting is a civil right.
WHAT WE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER .
It is our votes that count not our opinion, not court cases. This year we must all decide as youths to make this country better for our younger generation.
We don't need to fight and key we need to watch and pray instead and things will walk out. I believe in this country Nigeria.
This is what I think we should do . About coming to vote and the rest of it,,, nobody's vote counts in Nigeria. Nigeria is a country where rigging has dominated the electoral processes. I have worked with the INEC once and I know that Nigeria is not ready to make any citizen's vote count.
All we can do is pray and let God manifest.

You wrote a good content here friend. Election in Nigeria is something else. Corruption has taken all over the atmosphere and that isn't nice at all.
That's exactly correct, we must change our tackling skills. Especially the youths who involve themselves in lousy activities and end up allowing wrong government to rule us just because of illegal sponsorship.
This time around we should stand to our right and do things right.

It's quite better to collect our voter's cards on time, to vote in fresh and new minds, instead of talking and coursing confusions at polling stations. Thanks for reminding us how to get it right come 2023.
