I present to you my weekly report as a city coordinator in Nasarawa State. It was a great and productive week, we were able to create awareness in a school, recruit and did our weekly meetup.

RECRUITMENT

This week, @charis20 and I went to a school to make awareness about Steem, we went with our banners and we approach the students telling them about Steem platform, we gave them all the necessary information about Steem and leave them to decide whether the platform is for them or not. We were able to get two persons that showed interest immediately and we sign them up and invited them to our weekly meet-up. @treasure203 and @gibson46 you are both welcome to the platform, you made the right choice and we at glad you are here.

My advice to the new recruits is to always stay active and be consistent, like I will always say, bring value to the platform and the platform will value you, please take your time to know more about the platform, read, research if you have to and make sure to complete all your achievements task.

MEETUP

We have a whatsapp group for easy communication for all members of the group and also to be able to coach and mentor our newbies.

Our weekly meet-up is by 3pm every Saturday, this week we met at our usually place, a fast food restaurant. We tackle everyone challenges one after the other and we were able to help @treasure203 with her introductory post, you can read her post here. I got refreshment for everyone and I spent 14 steem on the refreshment. The people that was able to make it to the meet up this week are :

My Plans

I had a plan last week to print banners and fliers to create awareness in a school and I'm glad we were able to go for awareness this week. We plan to do more awareness this week as well and also to find a way to encourage our inactive members to become more active.

Conclusion

We spreading our wings and growing gradually with the aim to spread the word to the right people and bring the right people to steemit, people that are interested in adding value and not just earning on the platform.

It's was a productive week and I know it will only get better with time.
