THE DAIRY GAME: FINALLY IN 400LEVEL (LOOKING BACK TO MY YEAR ONE DAYS): ALL4ONE 100% PAYOUT TO @STEEMALIVE #CLUB5050
INTRODUCTION
Hello and good day great steemians. It's another wonderful day and a beautiful week ahead. My name is Otis patience and welcome to my blog. The long awaited 400level is here. Looking back to my year one a lot of things happened. I want to thank God for growth and how he has kept me. My dairy game today will be about my year one experience.
For some years now i just stop thinking about my past, what I gone through and how far I've come but this contest brought back a lot of memories, both good and bad memories. Well am still glad I got to remember some people who have made me the person that I am today.
MY FIRST WEEK IN SCHOOL
The name of my school is Benue state university. I've never been to makurdi before. I was born in Abuja and all my life I've lived there with my family. The thought of leaving my loved ones to a place I know nothing about kept on playing in my heart I was so scared. I don't even have any friends how will I cope.
I resumed school 1st week of May 2018. I applied for microbiology under the department of biological sciences. But I was given zoology and environmental biology. It was still under the department of biological sciences. I met alot of people during registration they were all looking matured. Nobody wanted to talk to me I was looking very small.
I turned out to be the youngest person in the whole of biological science department. The second youngest in the faculty of science
People made fun of my height and size. My departmental shirt was very big they couldn't get my size. My first week was like hell I cried almost every night I wanted to go back home but I had no choice just have to stay.
My departmental shirt after shaping for like three times.
MY FIRST FRIEND
After my first week experience I decided to stop making friends. I just wanted to be on my own. On may 12th 2018 we had our first general studies (GST). I was lucky enough to have a sit. A lot of people were standing because the hall was too small to contain all the students of biological sciences. The lecture started, while writing I lift my head and I saw a young girl looking more like my age mate. I was very sure she was older than me but I knew it wasn't that much.
I offered her my sit. I told her that I was tired of her watching stand. So I stood up for her to sit down but she she said something. Instead of you standing why don't we share the sit. I never thought of that. My idea was to stand up and leave the sit for her. We shared the sit. During the lecture I asked her what her was she said her name Fatima. I later found out that we are from the same village and her step mom knows my dad.
After that day we became very close. We went for all our lectures together. I later moved in with her. We became best of friends, and room mate. I shared everything with her. From her I got to know a lot of her secondary school mate from Wesley high otukpor and they also became my friends.
MY MATRICULATION DAY
This was a day of celebration for others but not me. I was very sad I thought my parent will be coming for matric at least I could get to see them after one month. But that morning I got a call from my dad that my mom was involved in an accident and broke her hand so they couldn't make it.
My matic was on June 6th 2018. I was sleeping through out. My friend kept calling me I had close to 50 Miss calls from and friends and my family. Later in the evening my elder sister came to my house and took out to celebrate.
She bought me ice cream and popcorn. She also got me a beautiful dress. My friend also bought me rice and chicken. We played games and shared stories about our childhood.
HOW I MET MY FIANCE
During my stay in school from May to September
I started having other friends. People started coming close to me. One of my close friends invited me to his church in campus. One Sunday I decided to go to his church. The name of his was Glory Carriers Ministry International (GCMI)
After the service I met this young man he was very nice to me. He started by introducing himself. He said his name was Pastor Peter. After talking to him I was about leaving then he called me back and he made me promise not to miss church on Sunday.
I was still waiting for my friend so that we could leave together after the service but he was still busy. Then Pastor peter asked if we could take a picture together and I agreed.
Well I guess it was love at first sight. I was looking very beautiful then
CONCLUSION
I did alot of this from the period of May to December. On December 8th I contested for miss biosa that's face of my department although I dint win I came third.
This made me very popular in my department. A lot of people wanted to be my friend. Most people wanted me to be the course rep but I wasn't ready for that. My first year in the university started off like hell but thanks to my friends people like Fatima, @UncleJoeh and my beloveth @peterabagi and the whole of GCMI for making it fun and better.
Once again thanks to @steemalive community for this opportunity .
Thanks
