Breakfast is one of my important meal and when I eat this meal I make it light, and I eat as early as possible. My choice of breakfast this morning was inspired by the French toast bread;

A breakfast of French toast(also known by Nigerians as mishai) and soya vita milk drink.
Preparing my French toast and soya vita milk drink cost me an estimate of 1000 naira( 0.310299 in SD);

• 5 pieces of Eggs-300
• Bread- 200
• Fresh pepper- 50
• Onion-50
• Vita-milk- 400.

It was a light but well enjoyed breakfast.

After eating my breakfast, I took my bath, dressed up to go out, from there headed to the market to get some ingredients to prepare my lunch Ogbono with garri. Getting to the market, I wondered how I would take pictures of what I was buying, so I was glad I Went with a friend, who helped with the pictures, we got back from the market by 11am.
As my friend left, I enter the kitchen and assemble everything I had gotten for my local soup and it all cost me 3500,(1.086046 in SD);

PREPARATION PROPER

Ogbono soup is a local soup that is very easy and less time consuming to prepare, it takes Less than 30minute, please read on.

• First I washed my meat and stemmed it with onions, Knorr cubes, meat spice, salt and added
  Water for my stock, I allowed it to simmer for 15 minutes until tender, then I added my pomo
  And smoked fish. And allow to cook for 5minutes.

• Then I poured in the crayfish, fresh pepper and palm oil ,allow to cook for 2mins until the oil
  blended with the stock, as the oil cooked well with the stock, I added my Ogbono, allow to cook for 2minute,added okoro,allow to cook for 5 minutes, because I love it tender.

• Lastly I added the vegetable, it always the last thing to add to maintain it freshness and you don’t allow it to cook for long, I brought it down and boiled water to make my garri.

I ate my lunch of Ogbono soup with garri, enjoyed every bit of it.

when I was done it was already 2:30, That’s was a sure nap I could feel it coming, so I went for it. slept to my fill and woke up by 4:53pm almost 5pm and a good time to think of what to have for dinner, I didn’t know what to eat but I was sure of one think I didn’t have enough on me again because I had already spent 1000 for breakfast, 3500 for lunch, so I was looking at 500 naira(0.155149 in SD) meal so I optioned for indomie and boiled egg.

I just finished eating my indomie and egg, and thought to let you know, wish I left some for my readers probably next time, so in the end of my 3 square meal journey;
Breakfast- of French toast and vita milk drink worth 0.310299 steem dollar
Lunch- of local soup Ogbono with garri worth 1.086046 steem dollar
Dinner- of indomie and boiled egg worth 0.155149 steem dollar.
In total I have spent 5000 naira that 1.598774 steem Dollars , that’s a lot of money, but you have seen how the economy has changed and things are quite expensive and a 3 square meal seem so heavy to provide all the same I really hope that you enjoy reading this,as for me looking at the amount spent is a heavy on me but the fun of it was having to share the experience in this contest.
