For example, look at what happened at Euro 2020. At a press conference before the match between Portugual and Hungary, Cristiano Ronaldo removed the coca-cola drink placed in his front and replaced it with bottle water. The effect? The value of coca cola fall dramastically while the value of bottle water went up. That's to show the effect or value of footballers in the market today.

In a nutshell, apart from roadshow, we can promote steemit through football as it remains the sport that unite people of different background. if binance, crypto can do it, steemit as a community can.

Why i made the Club5050 T-shirt

Steemalive as a community has been active in promoting steem for over 3 months now through the steem roadshow and it has prove very effective as many have joinned the platform.

After the introduction of #club5050 on steemit platform, i decided to join the moving train by powering up half of my earnings and also advertise the club to many of my friends.

To get more audience, i made the #club5050 T-shirt using a football polo as the club5050 sounds like a football club.

I got the idea from the contest Design a club5050 artwork and share it on your whatspp status organized by @focusnow. Since the name is club5050, i found it fitting to use a football t-shirt for the write-up as this will attract other players or fans to ask which football club is club5050, then that will give me opportunity to tell them about steemit.
My plans works perfectly well.

How i promoted steem during a football match between All stars fc vs Btc fc.

All stars fc was supposed to travel to Owerri for a match but due to the crises in the state, the match was cancelled for safety reasons. a match was fixed to play against Btc fc instead.

Before the match, i wore my club5050 jersey to warm up and few asked me about the club5050 which i explained perfectly well and at the same time introduced two of my team mates to steemit platform.

4 of them asked me to come to their work place so as to sign them up since they did not come to field with their phones.

the match was indeed one of the hardest game i have ever featured in as their defense line is very strong and aggressive.

I started as no11 and later switched to no7 after our no 7 sustained an injury. that's the beauty of the round leather game. they were too aggressive to the point it almost ended in a fight as their player was shown a red card and refused to leave the pitch and we are 1 nil down as of that time.

The referee had to pause the game and after some time, decided to end the game.

Evening activities

After the match, i and my sister @nellyblue headed home. I was so hungry and tired, she rushed to the kitchen to prepare food for the family. I must admit...She's a good cook. I enjoyed the meal, chatted some friends and then off to bed.
