Computer Viruses | What are they?
Good day Great Steemians, it's been a while I had to drop on article on my blog and I'm falling back with full force to share with you guys the little knowledge I have about Computer Virus.
At times, we may get confused on how our computer got infected or may want to know where viruses are found but it is sad to note that Viruses can be contacted during our normal activities on the internet like:Sharing and receiving files from others
Unknowingly opening spam emails
Unknowingly Downloading infected games or applications
Installing Applications without reading license agreements
Visiting Infected Websites
These are our normal day to day activities so we need to be very careful to avoid infecting our devices through these means.
Slow System Performance
Unexpected Loss of Data or files
Frequent System Crashes
I know that at this point you may now be wondering how this viruses can be controlled or prevented because these normal activities are the major things we use our devices to do.
There is a solution. Antiviruses are available to help fight against this computer viruses just as the blood cells fight against viruses in the human system.

VIRUS is a popular language used in the tech world which stands for Vital Information Resources Under Siege. This can be interpreted to mean that Virus stands for an attack on your Vital Information.
Computer Virus is a software that is meant to carry out this attack. How? When You Run a Virus program on your system, it modifies other codes in your system by inserting it's own code into it automatically then infects your system with an unwanted code which tampers with your system files and Vital information.

@osolife. It's really sad to know that our computer, gadgets and device can get infected from our normal activities on the internet or when we run a virus program on our system.

What you said is true, I remembered that the first time my system contacted virus was through sharing of files, since then I don't share again, thank you @osolife for sharing other things that can cuase it.

Viruses are common this time around. One other thing I recommend is to make sure your anti-virus is updated. I use Avast antivirus 2022. It has kept my system protected and I have not had much issues with virus.
