Morning Selfie: Baby Gift and Me on waking up Sunday morning

Good morning dear friends, it's a beautiful Monday morning and I'm welcoming you to read my diary for 7th February 2021.

I woke up 6:05am to the sound of our newborn baby crying. I got into the room where he sleeps with his mom and he was alone on bed crying so I picked him up and gently rocked him back to sleep. I did my devotional and went into the siting room, there I saw my wife cleaning the house and my little daughter Mary watching Sunday morning cartoons. We exchanged pleasantries then I went into the bathroom for a clean up.

The previous evening Mary had run a temperature so I had it in mind I'll be buying and administering to her some over the counter antimalarial drug. I came out of the bathroom and had my breakfast.

I finished up eating and went to a reputable pharmacy for my daughter's drugs.

After buying the drugs I got back home and gave my child in dozes as prescribed by the pharmacist. A week earlier, my mother had been unwell, she had an elevated high blood pressure which her doctors think is not unconnected to her over consumption of Pepper Fruit Dennettia Tripetala. I decided to check on her since it was a Sunday and I had all the time.

I got to my mother's house at 1pm. She was sleeping so I watched some TV and stumbled upon the news of ban on cryptocurrencies in Nigeria by the CBN. I also treated myself to the delicious fruits of Dennettia Tripetala while waiting for my sleeping mother.

Eventually my mother woke up so I went into her room to greet her. I was glad to be informed her blood pressure has been normalized and to find her in good health.

I spent much of the day with my mother until 5:40pm when I left her to go my church for the Catholic evening Mass.

The Mass ended at 7pm so I made for my home to be with my family and check on my daughter's health. I got home 7:45pm and met everyone in good spirits. I administered Mary's evening doze of her medicine immediately she had her dinner. I went into the bathroom for my evening bath, I came out and had my dinner. I watched some TV with the family before retiring to my room for the night's rest. I entered events for the day into my diary and I slept off 9:57pm.
