The dairy of how I spent my day on the 3rd November, 2021.

This day was an unusual day in my life. It was a day i had always dreamed of. I know this day was going to come but i never knew it was going to be today. Funny as it may sound but this is my day in Lagos. I had always wanted to be in lagos state, but i do not just want to travel to lagos for no just reason. So i had to wait patiently for that day when i would have enough reason to travel to lagos. So third November was that day.

Relax let me tell you a bit of the story

Because I had always wanted to be in lagos not for any specific reason though, maybe i just wanted to experience what it feels like living in Lagos. Also for the fact that i love to travel, so to me it was somehow that i have not experienced lagos, i have lived in places like Abuja, onitsha , Aba, Benin and enugu and some other few states in Nigeria, so why haven't i been to lagos at least for once. So i needed to be in lagos.

I started applying for software development role in companies that have their offices located at lagos hoping that it would go through snd eventually i would be in Lagos.

As God may have it, on 2nd November, an offer came, i applied just like every other developer and that same day i got a message to proceed to lagos the next day for interview.

Boom! It was like a dream to me, it happened so fast, i was excited and at the same time i was skeptical if i could actually make it to lagos the next day, it was do impromptu, i never expected it so fast. At this point i really do not know ehat to do, few of my friend especially joshua who knows how much i have been craving for lagos advised me to take the bold step, "shebi na me wan go lagos lols"

I had to quickly pack few of my clothes and my documents ahead of tomorrow. I could sleep well that night , i had a lot to worry about, ranging from what the process of interviews could be and so many other things and at the same time i was excited that i am finally going to Lagos.

morning

I was almost awake till the next morning, i stood up few minutes pass 5am , took my shower and ensure that all the necessary document are intacts, then i ordered bolt that would convey me to the park.

Few minutes later bolt arrived and my friends and co developers came out in their numbers to bid me farewell, it was another moment that i cannot forget in a hurry .

I was missing them already, especially that guys st the forefront, i know it was going to very for m but then i have to go.
I eventually arrived at the park and and entered bus that was going to lagos.

Afternoon

Throughout the journey i couldn't explain my feelings, i couldn't even take pictures maybe because of the way i was feeling, i tried to focused on the reason for going to Lagos and the same time praying it was going to be a success.

I couldn't take pictures enough to depict those moments though, I slept so much in the bus maybe because i couldn't sleep the previous night. I slept as much as i can even though i tried to stay awake, we made a stopover at ore where we spent fee minutes, those that wanted to eat did, but i couldn't eat, i had no appetite so i just bought a can a water and in few minutes we were all done . we continue our journey.....

evening

Lagos here i come, i got to my destination some minutes pass 4pm . i was so tired, and i just needed to rest and prepare for the next day interview .
I called my friends to inform them that i had arrived my destination successfully.

I can not really say i enjoyed the trip the way i had wanted because i enjoy it when i travels but maybe its because of the way this one came. Bug then , the feeling of finally been in Lagos was a huge one for me, next i shall be telling you my experience when i finally arrived at the company the next day.
