Now The Terror is Gone
Now that the terror is gone
Can we have peace and orderly society
Devoid of fraudulent rulers
With prudent management as a norm
Where fate of the masses will be a burden
To the leaders?
Dream of ethically-oriented society
Sounds like moonlight tales and lullabies
Where a hierarchy of ethically-disjointed men
Govern the landscape and human psyche
Coming and going in sequence
Just as smoke heads to the sky
Unless the massive revolt
Like burning woods scattered
By the fire maker
That dislodges the sky-bound
Chains and rings of smoke
Their line-up in numbers
Amidst their secret dictum.
