Introduction

Dear Steemians and Steemit network as a whole, it's my pleasure to be back here once again.

Sometimes in life, I think it's normal to experience Setbacks and delays, but what matters most is our reaction and attitude towards the situation. In this case, planning well will be efficient and being consistent with our plan will be helpful.

I am happy to write to you about the difficulty I faced since the December period, and how I've been able to overcome it in order to continue steeming it.

The difficulty

After making the last post I made which was titled: What it takes to be financially satisfied, I faced lots of challenges. That was also around the period when I made the nomination post we were asked to make on December in order to vote for the best Steemians of the year. After all these, it happened that my phone had a minor issue. I wasn't online and available on Steemit when the results of the voting were made.

Along the line of repairing the minor issue my phone had, the engineer made a mistake and burst the main screen of the device which escalated to a major problem. After three days, the phone was so damaged and impossible to repair. I was in Aba at the moment and visited the Calcare Aba Branch close to me What3Word and they confirmed that the panel of the device was damaged. That was the saddest news I heard during the first week of January..

The phone was very precious to me because of its contents... Especially Steemit functions and details. All our roadshow pictures were there too just like this one below:

I had many documents on the device in question including everything I posses and know about Steemit. By the way, before then, I have already saved my Steemit keys in a safe place where I can access it even if I loss my device.

The Setbacks

• I was deprived more especially of the ability to make posts on Steemit and engage in other posts as a Participant of the Steemalive Engagement League(SEL).
• I lost many contacts apart from the ones I had on my Sim card and on my Gmail account. Therefore, I was frustrated. I even wanted to join Aba Steemians for a road show that week but could not reach anybody to receive information.
• I also lost access to other stuffs I run with phone and social media, where I have. Slot of friends.

I Missed these things, and I'm sure I missed a lot on Steemit to.

Encouragements

During this period, friends from the steemalive community always checked on me and encouraged me. Here are the few friends who checked on me:

I was given a Nokia Lumia phone by my cousin, and I was a bit relieved, until I found out that the device has no major access to the internet and social media.

Overcoming for good

I deprived myself from series of some pleasure and unnecessary spending to raise money for a device. I also had a target and a to do list in other to help me fulfill my plans. Due to the nature of my work and the period of time this incident happened, I wasn't with enough funds to cater for a new phone. Therefore, I also had to withdraw some funds from my Steemit wallet.

Another factor that encouraged me was seeing my recruits doing well. People like @sammylove are positive new Steemians to write homeabout. He just joined, but he's doing tremendously well, and that has kept me in anticipation to return.

The SPVC WhatsApp group was a lifeline too. The messages coming in there, the contests, the promotion posts, and other means of interaction there, initiated by @focusnow server as a huge boost for me.

When I returned to Lagos and started work, I set a savings pattern and made a resolve to get a new device.

She was always busy with crypto academy and that inspired me because I was really missing the knowledge I acquire from the provision of the crypto academy. And lastly I thank the steemalive community for their untold support and reminders to me.

As a matter of fact, I am making this post to signify my availability and return to the Steemit network after being inactive for one full month. I am back with full force, and would appreciate the continued support of the community.

I will soon update my club level after leveling the requirements of club5050 before the month ends. I thank the Steemit network for this provision which helps us see the need to invest in the platform and grow more steel power.
