Introduction

Hi everyone. I am pleased to be here once more to complete this contest. I want to make an expository writing about the above mentioned local business.

Many local businesses are underestimated and underrated today to the extent that most of us don't acknowledge their usefulness to the society.

I will write briefly about 'CHOICE COLLECTION'.

Name and Description

This business is on the fashion category. I met the owner of the business while coming back from work today. He is a hard workinh Igbo man who dwrlss in Lagos. He named the business Choice because of his passion for fashion. He sells shoes and casual foot wears basically, then he also sells mens already made wears like Jeans, T-shirts and polo's. He didn't tell me his name, but as I saw him, I noticed he was a family man who is determined to build and maintain a good sense of elegance in the fashion industry. His trade gives him joy. The shop is full of wears, and merely looking at it, I sensed millions of money in the business.

Location

This business is located right at the center of Lagos, at Number 125 Ojuelegba Road What3Word in Surulere. This point is well known by Lagosians, and I'm sure each Lagos resident knows Ojuelegba. Ojuelegba is also close to a very big market known as Tejuosho in Yaba town. Many people from different parts of the western Nigeria come there daily to purchase mainly clothes and clothing accessories. Choice Collection is a small business, but the owner has got a great implementation of his ideas and has built a good brand in the wears market for his business.

Products in details

Footwears
There are Nigerian made Shoes, Italian Shoes, Sport shoes and casual foreign shoes. The cheapest shoe there has a price tag of 4000 Naira, approximately 30 Steem. I couldn't snap The shoes, since he almost felt uncomfortable with me Snapping anything, and it was night already.

Jeans
There are okirika jeans, new packaged jeans, and foreign jeans. I actually wanted to buy one of the jeans but I wasn't with enough cash. Moreover, he refused to collect transfer since he wasn't with his phone where he receives alerts. I managed to snap some of the jeans and polo's he sampled outside his shop.

Among all the items in this shop, I noticed that he sells more of jeans, and polo. Many people troop in to price them, and buy them at regular intervals. And that is why he brought out some jeans and tops outside his shop to sample them.

I was able to snap those samples outside the shop as below.

The Jeans are sold for at least 2500 Naira each, which is around 17 Steem, depending on the quality one picks. He wanted to sell the one I picked for 2500 Naira. He sells quality jeans that can last long. There are also samples of foreign Jeans on the Mannequin at the veranda. These ones are sold at 6000 Naira each, which ranges around 50 steem.

Sports wears and Polos
I actually loved the quality of polos he had. Simple but elegant. I was able to snap some of the ones outside, but couldn't snap the quite good looking ones inside. There are sports polo, casual polos and fancy polos. The cheapest of them had a price tag of 2000 Naira which is near 30 steem. The fancy polos on the mannequin had price tags of 3500, 4500, 5000, respectively.

Other sports shoes and sports wears there are also nice and of good quality. I told him that I would come back one day to purchase a football boot.

Conclusion

I Am very happy to conclude my quest in this contest with this details about Choice Collections. I really appreciate the time and effort all the STEEMALIVE community members are putting to participate in the contest. I hope we use this contest as a reason to value and acknowledge small local businesses and give them patronage as effective as possible. Many people decide to start small businesses and then grow it gradually while some people have the capacity to invest huge money in a business they want to start. Any how a business starts, it's still a business.
