Happy Sunday to all steemians in the house. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and went to church as well? My weekend has just been work, work, work and it has not been funny at all but in every of this an glad that it's finally off my shoulder. I will be making my diary today based on how my Saturday went.... It wasn't fun for me as the usual Saturday tag reads SATURDAYS ARE FOR WEDDINGS.
MORNING
I woke up well prepared knowing fully well that today was for no rest and I was ready to face my task and finish it that same day so the weekdays will be free for me. I woke up around 6:30am and I quickly prayed after which I had to brush my teeth. I rested a while waiting for the daylight so I can clearly see while going about my daily routine.
I had to start with going to the stream to fetch water that I will use for washing and I had to that repeatedly to have a full drum that would be enough for what I wanted to do. Afterwards, I had to go warm the food so I can have strength to continue with other tasks for the day which I did and indeed got a fresh strength to do other things.
I further went to scrape the brooms. I live in a remote area where majority of the inhabitants do basket business which I was not excluded from and I do it very well. So, as part of the tasks for the day I did that and had to gather the brooms together so I can afterwards work on it and there were many of them to be scraped and so I stayed with it until I was done with it.
AFTERNOON
I needed to rest for sometime for moving forward to my next because the last one was really a hectic deal. I rested for an hour or so before I continued.
My grandmother had to help me gather the brooms while I was still resting and she discouraged me to quit the work but I needed to trash the burden once.
Again I had to extract the palm fruit and parked it in the basket so I can peel for home use later.
We had like 6 bunches of it like it and I made sure I finished extracting all of them the same day.
Finally, I swept the whole compound and clear the whole dirt on it and even had to carefully pick all the small brooms.
We have a very spacious compound and if you must sweep it without getting tired within few minutes then you must do that with a longer broom.
