Reasons I Have Been Away From Steemit By @mihzonyi

My sick face

Dear friends, it's with joy in my heart that I bring you news of my survival from a very sevare fever that kept me down all these das. It started on 25th of June, travelled to umuahia from Aba to meet with a friend of mine, whom I lost contact with for many years. Fortunately, I was able to reconnect with her through Facebook and we exchanged contacts and agreed to meet up.

I traveled to Umuahia to see her, it was a beautiful reunion, we met at a restaurant in town around mission hill. We discussed at length. At about 4pm, I bid her goodbye and started on my way back to Aba. By the time I got to Osisioma, it was around 5pm and it was raining heavily. I didn't want to take cover till the rain to subside, because my sister will be so angry with me if I returned late to the house. So I managed with the rain on foot to a place I was able to enter Keke going to our house.

By the the time I got home, I was had been socked with water. I had a hot bath, had my dinner and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, I discovered that I was down with fever. I sent my junior brother; Abauchi to help me buy drugs from a drug store which he did. Bellow is the drugs he bought for me to treat malaria, typhoid and fever.

Unfortunately, by the time I completed this treatment I was still not in my best of health. I then went to lab to ascertain what is actually wrong with me. The result of the last still reaffirmed that it was malaria and typhoid. They placed me on injection and drip. Some days into the treatment, I started feeling whole again.

If I had known, I would have sought for professional help immediately I discovered that I was sick. From this experience, I have learned that self medication bad. Dear friends, that have been the reason I have been away, I know I have missed alot, I will be steady henceforth.

So, yesterday, I traveled to the village to see my parents, first thing they served me was reasted corn. If you want some, come have it😁. This corn is actually the main reason I travelled. I enjoy eating it so much. Especially with pears or coconuts.
