THE DIARY GAME: DOING WHAT SEEMS LIKE A TABOO TODAY 25th DECEMBER. 10% to @steemalive
Hello lovely friends of steemalive community, my fellow steemians and all you my blog viewers and readers. Why are you smiling? Hmmm, i know the answer. Because you are still alive today. Myself, am also happy and bouncing both in good health and vitality.
But in case you are not among my blog lovers, its me your friend and fellow steemian @marajah. So, as a visitor, am officially welcoming you to my channel.
To start with, please permit me to first of all narrate my early morning activities followed by how i engaged on a work that seems like a taboo to do on this actual date of 25th December every year.
As i woke up by 5:00am by my alarm, i prayed privately. Then, i went straight to the kitchen to prepare food. At the same time, i washed the plates. By 5:30am, as usual, its out normal time for morning worship. Therefore, other members of my family came out for the morning worship including the children.
The morning worship lasted for like 20minutes. Then, we sang praises to our heavenly father and later prayed. Then, i walked straight to the kitchen, dished out my breakfast inside my foodflask and got myself ready to move. But dear reader, do you know where am heading to? Hahaha, am going to do a work that seems like a taboo to do on a 25th December.
I said earlier that i dished out/in my food inside my food flask right? Anyway, i know that you guys must be confuse right now. Therefore, i gonna unveil or reveal what the taboo work looks like. With my motorcycle, i travelled to my farm which is about 3 miles away from my house. On reaching there, i decided to weed the front row of the farm land which is along the road side.

So, i did the weeding by myself. While doing the work, i caught many snails. Honestly, i love snails both the taste and its content.
But honestly, it wasn't easy for me to do the work because of dust. But i did it joyfully despite the challenge. While doing the work, many passersby asked why am doing such work on the day that the lord Jesus Christ was born? hmm, i dont know why people believe such saying that Christ was born on 25th December when bible didn't give us any proof of such.
Yes, here in my locality, they view today as a sacred day that one should not work on it. But not a bible base belief or law.
As for me, i continued with the work until i finished it up as you can see below
As i finished weeding the road, i went inside my farm to pluck some pumpkin leaves. Which i did successfully

When i came back home, i bathed and rested a little. By 4:00pm, i wanted to plait my little niece hair but just discovered that her hair is dirty. Then reverse was the case. Instead of plaiting, i washed her hair just as you can see me doing below

After washing her hair, i twisted it just to retain the length because, i need to design it tomorrow with a simple hair style

Wow, am happy now having accomplished many tasks today. More to that, i did what seems like a taboo in the eye and mind of people. As for you my blog lovers, thanks for viewing my blog.

Dear @marajah, permit me to join those little people who commend or may commend you for what you did...
But if I may ask, I'm sure you've done a good deed to someone or generally you've ever or have been doing something that you think is right that is not in the bible, so my question is ..why are you doing it, even though it's not biblical??
I don't want to go for the "Wrong " part before you will start saying I'm judging you, but it's good to mention, and it's obvious that you commit sins if not on a daily but regularly, you are neither perfect; not at all, infact no one. Remember when Jesus rebuked the man who called him "Perfect" in Luke 18:19.
So since you may agree with me that some (infact most) of the things you do are not mentioned in the bible, why then you don't want to agree with other vast majority of christians all over the world who commemorates 25th December as Christ's birthday?? Even the bible says in Matthew 16:19 that:
This bible verse was said by this Jesus we are talking about, being referred to Peter which the church was built on his rock; church that's now brought this argument or misunderstanding rather, because I'm very sure you will tell me it's your church doctrine that prohibited it smh 😏👎.
Similarly in Matthew 18:19 that
Dear beloved @marajah in the lord, I may not convince you enough on the need to join other christians in celebrating Christ's birthday on the 25 December, even though the bible say so, or I might even confuse you with my complicated reply.. but I want you to know that, whatever thing you know that is right for you, go ahead and do it and stop all these irrelevant noise making..
On this note, permit me to leave you with one of my favorites bible verse, precisely In Philipians 4:8 which says:

Thanks for noticing my irrelevant noise. But in a nutshell, permit me to ask you only but one question. @barnabie, Should Christians celebrate birthdays? If yes, pls i demand for a proof.
A taboo indeed lol!, U know going to the farm on a Christmas day is unfair, just that ur belief did not justified it as unfair.we are not here to preach any ways, ur write up is cute, but don't enjoy that snail and the ugu all alone oooo

Going out on a popular festive day and working as well, takes courage. Besides, you also found out time after your work to look after a family member, that's encouraging and thoughtful.
