My activities today as a staff in Aba steemit training center
The work of mentorship and recruitment is like a heavy task which is a must. But the joy comes when the person you're training learns quickly and practices what he or she is learning.
During my staying at our steemit training center here in Aba today, I mentored, trained and at the same time, verified some posts. Below are my activities base on recruitment and training of newbies.
the first person I attended to
When I arrived at our office, I met a beautiful lady who introduced herself as Nkechinyere(NK). We exchanged pleasantries. According to her, she saw our steemit banner. Since she is looking for work, she decided to check if the business will be a greener pasture.
I warmly welcomed her. Carefully explained in details what steemit is all about. Below are some of the tips I shared with her.
- the requirements: smart phone and active email address
- how to earn in steemit:
- what is club50?
- who can be in club?
- how to withdraw
- how much to earn in a post?
- is steemit real?.
- is steemit my sole business now?. etc
The lady really bombarded me with questions. But as a steemian I am, I answered all her questions. Then, I asked, should I commence your registration? She answered negatively. Why? According to her, her phone spoiled and she felt so reluctant to repair it. But, with this, she is now eager to repair it because, she told me she must repair it this week or unfailingly, next week.
But, I asked her why she felt reluctant to repair it. She said that the phone doesn't yield money for her, instead, it consumes. Hahaha, I then asked, but why are you eager to repair it now? She said, from what you told me, my future will be better with this platform and my life will have a good shape.
So, I encouraged her to follow her heart because, with steemit, there exists no regret. Then, we took a selfie and I bided her farewell.
the second person
myself and @scribal
This second person wrote his introduction post on Saturday. His username is @scribal. He came to acquire more knowledge about steemit. According to him, he attended a steemit seminar organised by @focusnow last year. He thought he can do it independently but failed woefully.
From what I saw in his page, he kept on posting articles in newcomers community.
So, I guided him on how to post, the needed markdown styles, how to apply them, how to set beneficiary, how to join club50 and the different requirements for each club.
My happiness is that the man immediately practiced almost all I taught him within a twinkle of an eye. And what interests me most about that is this:
- one understands what he or she is learning better once its being practiced. this is the link to the post he made in steemalive community immediately after the tutorials. There, he explained how myself and al@focusnow helped him. The man really appreciated us. Kudos @scribal!!!
myself shared in his happiness
At the end, the man's heart was filled with joy and we took a selfie. After posting, he left and myself arranged myself and then engaged in the work of verification.
conclusion
Though, I didn't register a newbie today, am glad that I helped someone to know what steemit is all about and later helped to direct and guide a newbie on steemit requirements. To me, its fruitful.
I agree having help during the beginning on here is so useful.
Impressive effort at the training centre today.Guiding and helping newbies to understand the rudiments of Steemit is very important. It will expose them to have the knowledge that Steemit is not a quick money making scheme rather a scheme that rewards patient and authors of quality contents.I like the passion in @scribal to learn more about Steemit.Keep it up @marajah

This is nice. Is always good when you teach someone and the person is learning very fast.
But my dear the work is not all that easy. In fact it isn't easy oo
