Club75, I PRACTICED WHAT I LEARNT FROM THIS PLATFORM
soya milk
Am so glad to learn and practice a new skill that I learnt from this amiable platform. It was just 3 days ago that I caught sight of a post made by @queensleey about how to prepare "soya milk". Wow, i could remember just approximately 6 to 7 years ago, 2016 exactly, when @focusnow first invited me to steemit, he told Me that I can learn and explore new skills from this platform. Today, its a reality. Why do I say so? Some months ago, I approached a friend to show or teach me how to prepare a special kind of drink that I cherished so much to the extent that I can't go to market without buying one for my personal enjoyment. But, would you love to know her response? Hahaha, its not funny at all. She told me to pay her 5000 naira (approximately 40 steem)before she could teach me. Hmmm, I ignored her. But today, imagine that I prepared one sweeter than hers? Are you surprise? Would you love to know how I got its method and how I practiced it? Please read on.
Engaging on other peoples post brings lots of lasting benefits. But permit me to talk about one of its benefits. As I said earlier, just 3 days ago, while engaging on some peoples posts, I saw a post made by @queensleey, her post link To my greatest surprise, she brought us information on how to prepare "soya milk". Interesting! With all happiness, I asked her lots of questions to which she answered correctly and with all happiness. So, I told her that am going to prepare it. Therefore, I went to market just to purchase all the necessary ingredients so as to prepare it.
Right now, am her student and I have decided to practice what I learnt from her. So, as I went to market, according to her, am supposed to use liquid milk flavour. But, I couldn't find it. I then substituted it with powdered. So, below are the ingredients I used.
Soya bean (2cups)
Sugar (desired quantity to taste)
Salt(as desired)
Milk flavour (2 sachets)
Water
(1)- I presoaked with water over night. According to her, one can chose to soak for 24 hours or overnight.
when i soaked it in the night

(2)- In the morning, I washed to separate the damaged ones from the good one.
i separated the good and bad ones
(3)- Then, I poured it into a pot, added water to it and set on fire for 15 minutes.

(4)- After 15 minutes, I brought it down and sieved. At this stage, there are two options according to her. It's either to wash off the skin or to grind it together with the skin since I will still sieve it again after grinding. So, I chose the second option.
(5)- I Poured it into a container and zoomed off in hunt of a mill or grinder. To know how desperate I am, I walked through a lonely path just to find a grinder.

(6)- Next, I sieved it with a neat cloth material
while sieving
(7)- After sieving, I poured it inside a pot and also set on fire for good 15 minutes(the second time).

(8) - Next, I sieved again to remove any other particle (chaff). According to my teacher @queensleey, I should add all the ingredients immediately after the second sieving. Therefore, I followed her instruction by adding all the ingredients immediately after this second sieving.

Wow, the drink is ready!
I really enjoyed it. But, not alone. I also shared with some of my neighbours. They too enjoyed it to the extent that they have threw a request on me to always prepare it for sale. Right now, am thinking about it.

I said it earlier that engagement matters so much in this lovely platform and that its benefits is beyond compare. Now, i @marajah can now prepare soya milk drink which I pleaded to a friend earlier before now to teach me its preparations procedures and she refused.
