RE: MY GRAND PARENTS AND I. CHAPTER TWO.

in SteemAlive3 years ago

Very interesting writeup @craxywriter. As i began reading the post and drew closer to your village i was seeing a picture of the compound i have been to. But at the end it was a different compound.

Its very important to really know and speak the dialect. Its always very frustrating most especially for grand parents who do not understand the English to communicate with their grand children.

I know what it means for you phone to be collected. It happened to me when i was in Buea with my aunty and using even a choronko camtel phone .limited to camtel. my God !!! Those days.

Thanks for the post .it has reminded of my first visit to Bali Nyonga through the grand stand to the palace and to Ba Titanji's compound where i lodged.

The story brings the nostalgic feeling. Reminding everyone about their lives on the village. And how they were growing up. Things evolved so quickly it feels like that part of our lives were not important no more.
I am happy I could tweak your imaginations a bit. Next episode coming up soon.
