Remember my diary game on attending my niece's graduation, in case you missed it, see the link here. Today again was all for her, I took her to Owerri for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation examInation popularly called JAMB. You may wonder why the exam is coming up now and why Owerri. Well she took the exam May this year with other Jambites, like they are called at Aba, but she was among those whose results weren't released and scheduled for a retake today. Earlier this week when she printed her exam slip and we saw that she was posted to Owerri, we weren't happy, I particularly was concerned considering the state of insecurity in that part of the state and the stress one would have to go through. We tried discouraging her from it but she said that she has to go for the retake since they were not asked to buy another form for the retake moreso she does not know how next year examination would be. So we had to agree with her.

Morning

Saturday 6th came, we woke up hale and hearty, all thankful to God. We said our prayers led by niece. She thanked God for another blessed and beautiful day, and committed her exams and our journey to His hands. She equally asked Him for success in her exams. Amen.
After that we prepared for the journey and around 6:53am, we left for park.
We got to Bata Junction and boarded a bus. The bus were almost full and we secured our seats, and in no time, the vehicle got filled up and our journey commenced.
It was a smooth a safe journey as we got to Owerri around 9:05am. Her exam center is Unique Computer Institute located at 2/3 Hospital/Orlu Road by Warehouse close to Imo International Conference Center (I.I.C.C.), and was slated for 12:00pm, so we needed to arrive on time for her to relax before the exams.
There we met some other Jambites and the people who came with them waiting.
The exam were in sections, 7am, 9am and 12pm, the 7am time were almost finished when we got there. She was anxious but I reassured her that all will be well. Around 11:45am, they started filing in for the exam and I wished her success

Afternoon

I and some other people who came with their wards were patiently waiting for them. I chatted with some of them and realized that almost of them came from Aba, some Umuahia. I equally did some work online, chatted with some clients booked some jobs and engaged some posts on steemalive. The exam lasted longer than expected but finally they started coming out. When my niece came out and I asked her how the exam went, she said it was harder than the previous one, also that the computer she was given had screen problem; half of the screen was darkened such that she wasn't seeing the questions clearly but that she did her best. I told her not to worry that she will scale through and gave her some snacks and drinks I bought for her. After snacking, I decided to take her on a little sightseeing around the area to cheer her up, so we went to the Freedom Square, Freedom Falls and Imo International Conference Center.

After our sightseeing and taking some memorable pictures, we headed to douglas road to board a vehicle back but unfortunately there was none there and much people were already there waiting. We were told to buy tickets while we wait which we did. As we waited, more people were coming, people started complaining, requesting to know what why the delay. The ticketer said the reason for the delay was due to hold up, he told us to exercise patience that the vehicles will soon arrived. After more than an hour the first bus came. People rushed and entered, the ticketer came checked their tickets and those whose own weren't number 6 were told to come down. It was at that point that he told us to check our tickets, some of us were holding number 7 and 8 and he said that number 7 will enter the next bus that will come. After a while the bus came and we all entered. Although there was heavy traffic coupled with several check points, we made it safely to Aba around 7:30pm

Night

We got home exhausted and hungry, I had my bath first, prepared dinner, okra soup with ugboro, and we ate. After that I made few calls, checked my WhatsApp messages, surfed the net and started writing this post but before you say jack!, sleep came calling. I didn't even know when I dozed off 😂😂 leaving the post halfway.

End

My day was well spent. My joy was that my sister and husband were very happy and grateful that I was there to lend a helping hand, my niece too was happy especially on the sites we visited.
Thank you for reading my diary game

You this issue doesn't happen always so whenever it does, we have to be patient.
Thanks for being here.

Yeah no doubt we should be patient but if its happened daily so what should we do

We still have to be patient or better still, the transport companies will have to provide more vehicles.

I love reading this post. I wish it didn't end. But no wahala. Seriously you like eating Ugboguru soup, what is the health benefits of Ugboguru if I may ask? So you went to my State without taking permission 🤣🤣

You know ugboru is a seasonal vegetable, usually seen in surplus during the farming season, moreover I have it in my farm and it's handy for a quickie soup.
For the benefits ; it is said to be an anti-aging agent, helps to fight against cancer, increases fertility, lower cholesterol, combats diabetes etc.

Ugboru leaf is rich in vitamins and minerals namely; Potassium, Calcium, Folic acid, Iron, Vitamin E, B6, A & C, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Thiamine, Niacin, Dietary fibers, Riboflavin, Copper, Manganese, and Proteins.
So know that whenever you are eating ugboru leaves, you are eating a complete balanced diet 😊
