THE DIARY GAME: SHOPPING WITH MY ACP ON 4/1/2022 //BY @KINGKAWEN
INTRODUCTION
Good day amazing steemians. I trust God we all had an lovely day? I, @kingkawen will be sharing one of the interesting days of my life; shopping with a lady. I know what you are thinking already😀 Guys will understand that better.
HOW IT STARTED
I woke up quite early today because I needed to accompany a friend who was to travel today so i helped him unpark and prepare for the journey ahead. I accompanied him and he left so, immediately I came back and started with my house chores then I did my devotional which lasted a little bit longer than usual because I have some new books i needed to finish reading today. And as usual, i logged onto my Steem account and check my notifications. Then I received a call from my business accountability partner requesting I accompany her to the market to shop for her return back to her PPA because she would be traveling tomorrow for her PPA. It came on a short notice hence the rush...and because I knew she had no other option than myself I didn't hesitate to help. I meet her at the mum's shop where we did our final preparation to go to the market. After much debate,we finally came to a compromise to shop at Ultra-modern market Makurdi.
SHOPPING PROPER
This is where it gets interesting, I was about to get my first experience shopping with a lady which is one of the dreaded moment in a man's life because of their uncertainty and professional (boring, never ending and annoying) negotiations. You guessed right, I was with one of them but as usual I always find my way out around. I was destined to turn the tables around no matter what(grin).
Our shopping list ranged majorly from toiletries, pharmaceuticals and food items which amounted to 3 pages( you're right, like who does that?)
We processed to her old time customers which unfortunately were not available. A moment of confusion, depression and indecision stepped in. With my superhero skills(giggling) I spotted a near by shop and use as an alternative and with my consultancy skills I employed her to forgo old buddies and invite in new ones, after all it's a new year.
It took us an average of 5 shops to get all the toiletries on our list. At this point, I resolved to taking pictures, holding the items and finding a seat to sit whenever we enter a new shop. This was the most difficult list to shop after all but finally we scaled through the moment we saw the lost but found body cream.
The rest of the shopping went on relatively easy and fast. We bought most of the food items in one shop and it took us just a vist to two additional shops to complete our list for food items then we were set to visit the pharmacy where I suggested I take the items home while she goes alone ( at this point, I believe you know why?)
And so yeah, that was my experience shopping with my business accountability partner; Sechivir.
