People today chose role models based on what the person has achieved, his or her popularity his or her inventions and rewards received from the world.
Youths always chose role models from
sets of movie stars, well known musicians and we'll known athletes or footballers.
The truth still remains that our role models will influence our lives wether for good or bad because you will like to emulate or put into practice qualities you cherish in the lives of your role model.

Let's meet my role model and know why I chose him as my role model.

Meet my role model ::Jesus Christ

My role model is the only begotten son of our Heavenly Father Jehovah God, the first born of the true God.

Reasons why I chose Jesus as my role model.

1) Jesus was approachable.

During the time he spent here on earth as a human, he never behaved as someone who is superior to all humans, he allowed everyone even children to come closers to him.
People came to meet Jesus with some annoying questions but Jesus was never angry with them rather he showed them love.
When sick people came to him for help, he never sent them away rather he healed them from their problems.

Yes if am approachable, people around me will love me and it will bring peace and joy to my life.

2)Jesus was compassionate and empathetic.

He felt pity for his sheep's as a loving shepherd, when people where hungry he gave them food.
When Lazarus died even though he was going to ressurect him but he cried and mourned with Lazarus family.
He's compassion is worth emulating.

3)Jesus was understanding and discerning.

Jesus was a perfect man but he never expected perfection from his disciples, even when they made mistakes he corrected them with mildness.
He doesn't quickly judge or condemn people maybe because of their conduct or way of living.

And I learned that I should never be quick in condemning people because of their misconduct.

4) Jesus was respectful and impartial.

Despite the fact that Jesus was higher than his fleshly brothers he always respected both his siblings and his earthly parents, he was not full of himself.
He was always fair-minded when dealing with people from other tribes like the Samaritan woman whom he met at the side of the water well.

5) Jesus was a true friend.

Jesus never rejected any of his friends maybe because they made mistakes, he accepted friends from all tribes and ages, he was always there for his friends.
He always allows his friends to express themselves freely, out of love he died for his friends.

What have they accomplished in their field

Jesus accomplished a lot when he was here on earth, he cured the sick, he ressurected the dead, he feed thousands of people who where hungry, he did all that as a hint of what he will do for mankind in the near future.
He also declared the good news of Gods kingdom to a larger scale..

How have they helped the world or their local community?

Before Jesus came down to this earth we had no hope, but he came and gave us life and hope.
Not just a community but the whole world benefited from Jesus death and in the near future we will benefit more, when he will act on our behalf and save us from death and all the pains we are passing through.
Jesus died for our sins and there will be no higher accomplishment than that.
His death gave us life and hope.

Conclusion

No human can be a great and better role model than Jesus Christ, he himself also urged us to follow his steps closely if we want to succeed in life.
Jesus has wonderful qualities that if I imitate them all I will be a better person to the community and the whole world.
