Hello wonderful steemians....
Indeed it is a wonderful contest organized in this community, am also glad to be among the contestant, maybe from here we will get to know our city very well. It's my pleasure to thank @bright-obias and @prolee and co for the tireless efforts.

RIVERS STATE

Rivers State is a state found in Nigeria, at region part of Niger Delta. It was found on 27 May 1967 (53 years ago) Rivers State is blessed with so many natural resources and other things like, Rivers, lake, oceans and so many of them. Mostly Rivers State depends on producing crude oil. The rise of crude oil has lead to a rapid growth of the state.
It has 23 local government.

PortHarcourt is the capital city of Rivers State currently Governed by Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.
Port Harcourt is seen as one of the most beautiful cities in Nigeria and in Niger Delta and it is located at ogoni, ikwerre, ijaw and obiokpo local government areas.

It is somethings called Garden City due to how decorated it is with flowers and other beautiful things. As an oil producing state it has made rooms open to many companies and industries from different part of the world like SHELL, TOTAL, SCHLUMBERGER, SAPIEM and so many that reside in the state, it has second to highest revenue after Lagos State. Apart from it being an oil producing states it also have other natural resources like palm oil, coconut, Rubber trees and so many of them.

Here at PortHarcourt city strangers from different part of world are welcome and also been treated with respect at all time.
It has so many flyovers built around the four-corners of the city.
The governor is really doing a great job constructing flyovers in order to limit traffic because traffic is one of the problem facing PortHarcourt due to over crowded population.

Invade you don't know there is an ongoing Madrid academy currently been organized by the governor nyesom ezenwo woke.

The prices of food in PortHarcourt is well affordable, many people that stays in PortHarcourt loves eating roasted yam and roasted fish know as Bolè. because It is sold at a cheap price and can satisfy one self.

It has some many nice school found in the city both privates and Government schools with qualified teachers, with better learning equipment for practical courses as and other things. It has the best Primary, secondary and Tertiary school in Niger Delta and in Nigeria

Electricity has been one of problem facing the Niger Delta regions, but due to production companies and industries that are in the city of PortHarcourt constant Electricity is been supply to it's inhabitants.

★Good Roads
Port Harcourt has some many good roads that are constructed by governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, good roads is a necessity for a city to have and PortHarcourt city has so many good roads and flyovers, good vehicle moves through it.

Port Harcourt city has so many peaceful and wonderful place to leave as a stranger and also as an indigine.
