Introduction
Food is in important for good health, healthy growth. It gives us energy and to children, it helps them to grow stronger especially food that contains, iron, calcium, protein, vitamins and minerals.
Jeloff rice
I prepared this Jeloff rice for lunch and the price was 10 steem. I love cooking rice from time to time because I have young ones in my family, again it easy to cook and serve visitors. Infact I can say that Rice has become a popular food in the whole world just like bread. You can cook it Jellof Rice, fried rice, pepper soup rice, MTN rice. You can cook it in so many ways and you will enjoy it. Why I love it so much is because of the nutrition value. It is whole grain and it contains lipids and steroids that the cells need.It is good for the heart.
Okra soup
This is my vegetable soup made with okra. I love okra because when you eat it, it makes you feel full. It helps in digestion and controls high cholesterol. It helps to fight kidney stones.It is anti cancer. It is good for diabetics patient. It boost the immune system.
Poriadge potatoes
potatoes is a carbohydrate food Which you can prepare in so many ways. You can fry it with groundnut oil or palm oil. After frying it, you can eat with tomatoes suace or pap. You can do it poriadge as I did with sent leaves, onions, salt, pepper and palm oil. Potatoes is rich in vitamin C. It contains fiber which act as a cleaner in the body.
Fried plantain
you can call it fried plantains or plantain chips. My children love this chips so much that, they always remind me to fry it. I frie this for all of them to it. I t was our lunch, yes we all enjoyed it. Fried plantain just like cooked one is rich in vitamins and minerals. It is the rich source of fiber, vitamins A, C, and B-6, and the minerals
Pap
Bread
Pap is a product of corn or maize. How do you prepare pap? First you need to put the size of water that you will use to turn it just like you prepare garri. The difference is that, you will use cool water to disolve it and add the hot water that you have build. You will turn it until is done and thick. You now add sugar as desired and milk too. You will now enjoy it with bread as i did here or with fried potatoes, plantain or beans. You take pap as you desire. You may want to know why I choosed to use bread. It was because I was going very far and I was not sure if eating until i come back so I used bread so that I will will full all day. Again, since pap is good for digestion, it will help the bread to digest very well while i do my activities for the day.
Conclusion
