Diary Game season 3: I spent my weekend Processing cassava into Garri - 22-5-2021

Good day friends and welcome to my blog. This is actually my first post on Steemit after signing up. I am getting my introduction post ready and will publish it probably this evening. Meanwhile, here is my dairy post for Saturday 22-5-2021.

It was a day that started early. I woke around 4.50am and started the day my conducting morning worship. I read some scriptures, thought about them and concluded with a prayer. I went to meet the rest of my family members and everyone was really fine. I and my sister @mesonia planned to harvest some cassava to process it into Garri. We started early for the work. We uprooted as much cassava as we needed. After that, we had to rest a bit.
When we resumed, it was time to start peeling the cassava. it took a while to get the job done. It was done after like 2 hours. We took the peeled cassava to the engine where it was grinded. You can see the pictures below.

When the grinding was done, we have to stuff the processed cassava into bags. Then, the bags are packed and pressed under a wedge to let it dry. We left the grinding house at around 5.40pm. It was getting done and we were exhausted. Once at home, I had to quickly take my bath and clean up. I also took my dinner after bathing around 7.50pm. I had some chats with mum and my sister before retiring to sleep. It was really a hectic day, but i was happy everything that was planned, got done.
