Promotion is one of the most important thing in any business, brand or organization.

It is through promotion people are known for instance many of us would not have known about steemit without a seminar or someone telling us about it and that is because the person is promoting it.

Steemit has over 2million plus users and how did they do that? Through promotion.

I know a lot of people are thinking of how to promote steemit to people in a more easy way, well that is why I have taken my time to draft out this post.

We have other amazing platforms filled with hungry writers looking for where they can write those beautiful contents and earn from but the truth is that no one has taken the steemit offer to them so why not do so by following one of the two methods below

Method 1:

We have whatsapp and am sure a hand full of steemians use whatsapp and facebook and also belong to groups on this platform just as you belong to communities here on steemit.

Create your own group and give it a catchy name, make sure its a closed or should I say private group to avoid distractions and unwanted guests.

After creating your group start telling people that you are holding a free training on how they can earn online by just sitting at home and writing or better still make it more fund and say they can make money by writing about the things they love the most.

When your done with your promotional write up attach the link to your group to it and share to those other groups you belong to make sure you have permission to share to those groups in other not to get banned.

Method 2:

We have a platform called mixlr and another called zoom, lets dive in to mixlr first.

It is an online audio live platform that only allows you to communicate to your audience via voice, It can accomodate more than 1000 listeners, with this you can hold a live audio session telling people about steemit or other things but the question is how do you get audience?

Remember method one right? That's your lead way to still get audience, all you need to do this time is to tell the people in those group that rather than reading why don't they sign up and listen for better understanding as it would make it easier for you all.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a video chat network on like mixlr it is a visual platform that enables you see and recognize your audience and also your audience sees and recognize you.

Zoom is one of the best video communication tool with lots of amazing features, with zoom you can give better explanation and even show your audience examples and lots more.

Bonus is Telegram: with its new features you can use voice and also chat at the same time making it very easy to hold your class and the sweetest part of it all you can talk to more then 10k persons at once.

Conclusion:

So as a newbie to promotion you can you can use any of the above method to promote steemit if you don't have the resources to promote steemit offline.
