From time to time we see scammers dropping comments on posts, promising Steem giveaways. They will drop a link which will definitely take you away from Steemit and ask for your keys. When you give them the keys, your account is gone. I just made our community top 5 post for today and saw one such link below. You can see the comment below:

He wants to steal your keys. He wants to steal your account. He wants to steal your money. If you have newbies, please let them know about this link because they are the people targeted. They will likely want to get free steem and click the link. Please educate them.

One of our moderators @caleb-marvel lost his account last week to a thief. He has since that last week initiated account recovery with the owner key. But up till now, the email has not arrived so the account is still in the hand of the intruder. Few hours ago, reported that the thief has started a power down as can be seen below:
Please is there a way to hasten the process so he can have the mail and recover his account within the next 6 days, so as to avoid loosing his funds from the power down? Thanks so much
