Could you write Tech articles and stand a chance to be supported by the community curators? 10% to Steemalive
Introduction
You remember that there are many categories or themes for each of the 5 community curators project recently revived by @steemitblog? I was reliably informed that there are very few science and technology articles currently published. This means that the Science, Technology & Computing team led by @reminiscence01 has fewer articles to curate. Hence, this is both an opportunity to get supported if you can make articles in this category, and an chance to learn too.
We are therefore calling on all Steemalive members that are tech-savvy to start publishing articles for this category. Even those that are less tech-savvy can still produce quality science and technology articles. Here are suggestions on how to get ideas for this.
How to get started publishing tech articles
its actually not too difficult to start publishing tech articles even if you do not have background in Information Technology. To begin with, you are not expected to start writing professional technical publications. The most important thing to do is to develop a desire to learn and do research. It is virtually easy now to learn about different stuffs online. So start researching different aspects of science and technology, and you could soon find yourself making great articles. You could start from the gadgets and other stuffs close to you. So here are idea things to start with:
1. Android and iOS Operating System/Apps: Write detailed reviews of some apps you use. Including features, functionalities and "how to use" articles. Google PlayStore is full of many useful apps. Install the apps, check the features and learn how to use them. You could then make articles and explain your new knowledge in a post. Which app is your favourite for buying or swapping cryptos, adding arrows to images, gaming, etc? You can make a post of how to use specific features of these apps.
2. Computing, IT tutorials. Hardware/Software: If you use a Laptop or desktop computer, you probably know a thing or two by now. So you could publish articles on computer hardware, features and functionality. For example, can you research on the different computer storage devices such as RAM, ROM, HDD, SDD, and stuffs like that.
If you know how to use a particular software to do word-processing, graphics, database, animation, or other things, why not do tutorial posts on how to use these. It will be an opportunity to teach other people, as well as get support from the team.
If you are tech-savvy or an IT professional
3. Other areas to explore: The Science and Tech space is really a huge one. There are so much you could venture into, learn and start making great content. You could take an adventure into Virtual Reality, programming, 3D, metaverse, AI, etc
Other Ways to increase your IT knowledge
Apart from doing research, there are other ways you could increase your knowledge in the IT sector. That includes watching TV channels that feature tech inventions and innovations. Attending tech workshops and exhibitions. You could also research and join tech groups on social media and online forums. How about visiting other tech blogs to find out what is trending.
Finally you could start a start some tech internship programs both online and offline. These are programs designed to help you learn technologies of choice. Many teach programming, gaming, 3D animation, graphics, etc. These internship programs will expose to knowledge that was otherwise foreign to you. These are all opportunities one can explore in order to gain deeper knowledge and be able to write science and technology articles.
Publish your articles in SteemAlive, Remember the tags
