INTRODUCTION

To you all there my friends, I want to specially welcome you to my Blog channel, hope you are doing fine, it is a weekend so you got to be enjoying yourselves.

As for me, let me share with you how my day went on the 4th February 2022. I woke up at about 5.30am yesterday. First I prayed, thanking God for my being alive again today. It is a miracle indeed, after lying down sleeping for several hours. After my personal prayers, I turned on my phone to check my messages on Whatsap and that took me about 30 minutes, then I planned my day.

My first assignment after taking care of myself personally, I came outside to feed my animals and to water my garden. The next first outside assignment was to go to the market for food stuff shopping.

THE MARKET

i boarded 2 vehicles from my house to the market. There I first bought pepper N100.00 so I can get change to give the person the bus driver joined me together with since that is their usual way of settling their passengers when they do not have enough change for everyone. They will join you with another person so you go and sort yourselves out.

There I also bought Tomatoes both of them I bought the quantity that can be enough for the family for 2 weeks. I also bought fish, stockfish, crayfish, dry pepper, etc. Infact all that I need to cook vegetable soup.

There are so many things in he market that I needed to buy but the money on my hand with me could not buy them all. I was interested in buying at least 1 tuber of yam but its too expensive for me to purchase it.

This time around due to the dry season, yam is usually expensive. Although now is the time we suppose to have it in abundance as farmers just finished the harvesting but the reverse is the case.

After buying all from the money I came out with I decided to come back home, so I boarded a bus back home.

On getting home, I instructed my children to wash the tomatoes and the pepper with onions, ginger and tumeric. This is usually a good blend as it brings out a good aroma and taste when used to cook your red stew for Rice. They were to grind everything together. Shortly after grinding it on their way home, the tomatoes fell off her hand and the bucket handle got broken. All the tomatoes threw away remaining just a very small the quantity left. I was so disheartened and annoyed because I spent close to N2400 (about 15 Steem) just to buy the Tomatoes and pepper. With the market price of things now every woman understands how much I lost including the time I spent journeying to these wholesale food market. Seeing my countenance, my son ran out on his own to buy another tomatoes of N700.00 (about 6.5 Steem) but it was a small quantity compared to what is sold in the wholesale market. This is all we had remaining as you can see in the picture below.

I just have to pray to God for a heart of happiness with joy so I can forget about the incidence since it was by accident it happened. After all life is not certain, things can change at any time.

IN THE EVENING

By now its already evening so I got dressed up with my family to attend our congregation Bible study and it did brighten up my evenings. After the worship I took my dinner at about 9.30pm and off to sleep around 10.45pm.

In conclusion, my lesson from all this is that whatever condition that comes our way at each given time, we should be determined to face it with confidence. I believe you have learned something from my stories.
