Welcome to this new week which is the fourth week of prowriters hub and here is my 01st entry of this week contest and here I will be talking about Drug Abuse.
Drug Abuse
Drug Abuse is simply the excessive intake of drugs or the intake of drugs without the doctors prescription. People abuse drugs mostly when they take hard drugs like marijuana, tramadol etc excessively and even when there body don't need the drugs but the take it.Drug Abuse is very harmful to human and it can lead to social, emotional and physical harms.
People abuse drugs intentionally while some think that they are doing the right thing not knowing that they are abusing drugs.people abuse drugs in so many ways and below are some of the ways by which people abuse drugs:
When a doctor prescribe a drug for you and give you the exact time to take the drugs and you decided to take it before or after the time given to you it is seen as drug abuse
When a patient is sick and he/she is given a drugs to take in order to relieve/cure the sickness and in the process of taking the drugs he/she seems to be relieved without completing the dosage and the patient decides to abandon the remaining drugs,in that way he has abused that drugs.
Generally tramadol is a drug that is designed to relieve pains but people today no longer take tramadol to pains but for there different stupid reasons and by that way they have abused tramadol.
Harmful effects of drug abuse
Abusing a drug is very harmful and dangerous and below are some of the harms to drug abuse can cause:
Taking of hard drugs or taking drugs without the right prescription can lead to mental Confusion
Drug Abuse can cause violence in a community and also increases the rate of crime in a community.
When a student start taking hard drugs it reduces the academic performance of the student
Drug abuse can cause stroke.
How can drug abuse be eliminated
For one to eliminate drug Abuse you need to avoid peer pressure. People abuse drugs because of the influence they get from there peers and to avoid it you have to make friends that have the same believe with you.
To avoid drug abuse we should learn how to consult our doctors for the right prescription when we are illed.
For a country to eliminate drug abuse they should set a rule and consequences for people who are caught taking hard drugs.
Conclusion
Drug abuse is one common thing that is amongst youth. There are some persons who abuse drugs not because they want to do so but because they think that they are doing the right thing not knowing that they are abusing drugs.
Drug abuse should not be overlooked by people or community because it will not just affect the person abusing the drugs but also the community and people that are around.

Yes my dear friend,you have said it correct.some people take drugs after the time they were instructed to do it and not knowing the Effects of it.
They always do that because they want to be relieved immediately while some take it after the time that they are instructed because they don't like drugs or couldn't meet up with time

Dear @ogwo did you know drugs are everywhere. Drugs are a big problem in our society, and they are being used by more and more people. There are many reasons why people abuse drugs, but the main reason is because they want to escape reality.
There are different persons who have there different reasons of abusing drugs but there reasons are never enough for them to abuse drugs because the harmful effect can not be compared with there useless reasons
Yes brother I'm agree with you because they have just reason for no reason they try to frug abuse just because of a failure but they don't know the life has more success but no they chose the drugs for temporary relief and permanent loss
@emmanu I agree with you a lot of people do that, and sometimes is from the doctor.
Some persons intentionally abuse drugs by taking hard drugs while some abuse it not knowing that they are abusing it

Yes you are right mostly people think while drug abusing they are doing right and they are doing anything wrong but actually they are always on wrong path
That's why the rate of drug abuse is increasing on a daily basis since it is very difficult to control it and even the people that wants to stop it abused drugs in one way or another
Its easy to drug abusing when you get addicted it is not easy to escape from it even you to increase your dose to get relief and then its kill them slowly slowly its very dangerous habit
Yes you right drug abusing is very dangerous most common signs of drug abuse are changes in behavior, mood, and appearance. If you or someone you know is showing these signs, it is important to get help immediately.
Drug Abuse is not just harmful to an individual or family but also harmful to communities Because it can cause violence and conflict since the drug abusers misbehaves
Yess brother thier is thousands of violences happened in last years just due to drug abuser because when they took a dose of drug so they have sense to do wrong and right or when the need a drug they also try to get drug they no care how and from where means
Yes and It is also important to be careful of how much medication you take, because it can cause side effects. If you start to feel any unusual side effects, or if you are unsure if the medication is working, you should consult your doctor immediately.
That's right, some persons don't even think of consulting the doctor rather they consult themselves by prescribing drugs for there selves
Exactly you are right they think they are right and they always chose drug for themselves without any fear of loss I really feel bad for them I wish I could help them
