Challenge Season 2 (Week 4)| The Worst day and the best day of your life - A true life story!
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I am grateful to be here and once again I must say this contest is one of its kind.
Life was never balance right from day because we encounter a lot causality daily. I recall vividly, when I had admission into Maurid Polytechnic back then in 2019 but I was given a different course that was differ from what I had put before but I withdrew because I didn't like the course.
The worst day of my life is when I was pointed a gun to surrender my phone and the last money on me back then in 2020 and that alone got me scared from going to Akwa Ibom State. I had heard from Dad that he deposited some money into my account the previous day before a day to my birthday but that faithful day that was my birthday on my way to the money to cash out the money, I was robbed and my phone was stolen from me. I cried my tears out and being my birthday, I was devastated and upset but I one thing I was happy about is that my life was spared. I didn't know who to run to but I was grateful even at that critical point, I escape death and since then, I am yet to visit Akwa Ibom State. I was terrified because that was my first time to experience such in my life when a gun was pointed to my forehead.
The best day of my life has to be when I got my recent job that is giving me small pocket now. I was tired of dependent of my parents especially I know that my siblings were also in school that got my parents interest and since getting a job was the best option and to reduce the burden from my parents, I took the chances and today I don't need to bother them for pocket and saving the rest for the raining days.
- What contributed to that worst/best day experience?
Life contributed to the worst and best day of life. The worst day of life is what I don't want to remember because it was horrible and my life was at risk but I was deprived of material things and my life was intact.
- What did you get wrong or right on that day?
I got it wrong on that I was robbed because it was in a broad day light but nobody came to my aid apart from God that touched the criminals to spare my life.
I got it right on the best day of my life because I can put food on my table without bothering my parents or anybody.
- What lesson(s) did you learn from that worst/best day experience?
I learned that most times, simply instructions can save you from big time troubles. I was asked to surrender my phone and my purse and I didn't hesitate especially with gun pointed at me.
Life is sweet when you hold and not when you are owing people. As far as I am concerned, no man can form paparazzi for me because I work hard to put food on my table.

Wow!!! Thank God your life was spared but despite the tribulation, Akwa Ibom State is still calm and in term of protection, only God that protect dear.

I'm so so sorry to hear about what happened to you on your birthday as you where being robbed by arm robbery. Do not bother my dear, the wicked shall never see peace. Atleast I'm glad they didn't harm you that day. I am also glad that you moved on with your life by living a more healthier life

A gun was pointed at you? This is horrible experience. Thank God you submitted your phone and the whole money, your life matters a lot. Am happy that they didn't rep you too.

I'm very sorry you were pointed a gun here in Akwa ibom state and maybe that's the most reason you have not visited since then. But trust me Akwa ibom is a nice place, just that luck ran out of you on that day

Impressive! I am happy the salary will be spilt into 2 but the distance alone is eating up the salary but is better than staying at home.

So sorry for your education, but to me you should have accepted the course that was given to you then later you switch it over.
For the rubbling on your birthday I really know how you feel, and I thank God for sparing your life because it would have been a different case. For your new found work congratulations but dear education is number one I will advice you to safe then pick up a jamb form next year and plain for your education. I wish you success my dear
I wrote jamb this year but the problem was that i never wanted polytechnic and not to mention schooling in Akwa Ibom State. I appreciate your effort and i am hoping for admission this year.

It really a sad incident that the young youth who is suposed protect and develop our country is busy robbing poor individuals.

It happens once in a while and most especially in Africa countries but only God that protect.
Hmm this kind of experience is always devastating cause when it happens to you, you keep on wondering what if ; what if you didn’t have a phone with you , what if you didn’t have any money on you. Would he have hurt you.
I think you should be thankful everyday that you had those things. We can never had a new life when we are killed but we can always have a new phone when our old phone is stolen.
Wow, on a day that you were supposed to be happy turned out be a worst day for you. I hope you didn’t cash out the money though. After going through this experiment I hope you can now laugh about it when talking about it 😂
Wow I’m the current state of Africas economy I think this days it is a miracle to actually get employed😂. We are happy for your job and I hope am not too late in coming congratulating you.
