THE DIARY GAME: Day 3 (03/08/2020) "oh schucks...onions"

I trust we are all having a great day :)

Dear Diary
Today was blast!...well not that blast though, but definitely fun...

I woke up a bit late today, I was up all night watching Rick and morty. I wasn't all that sleepy yet I was too tired to get up from bed. I gathered strength and lazily did the chores. Everyone but me already had breakfast. I wasn't all that hungry so I decided to skip that. Nothing really interesting happened this morning " or I probably missed it " as I went back to bed.

I woke up in the afternoon feeling much better but I was sooo hungry. I hurriedly took my bath and dashed to the kitchen to scout for a meal. I met my aunt in the kitchen, she looked at me and said "I heard you're a good cook". She was definitely being sarcastic. I replied "yeah, right" to which she says "then you should have no problem helping out with these"

Onions!!! :( , Worse still she wanted them diced into bits using a knife. I've always hated onions aside the part where I would cry my eyes out whilst slicing it, I don't like seeing them in my meals. I was to prepare jollof rice, easy right?!!. I easily sorted the other ingredients leaving the onions out. Well...it was inevitable, I began to dice the onions slowly, five minutes into this task and I couldn't even open my eyes. Seeing my miserable state, she laughed at me and tended to the onions herself.

However, I parboiled the rice and put in the necessary. It seemed like forever but it was only about an hour and alas! tis done

It really did taste great, "guess I'm a great cook after all". After this I went to the backyard to clean my sneakers

I finished cleaning and washing around 6:35pm and spent the remaining hours playing players unknown battlegrounds mobile (PUBG). I really can't go a day without this game. It's been fifteen minutes since I started this entry and I've concluded my third diary post :) .

It's currently 9:37pm and I've got some Rick and Morty to catch up on.......
