The COVID 19 world of ours and maters arising

Who of us will not agree that we are now living in a different world, a world quite different from the one prior to the COVID 19 pandemic?

We now live in an era where meetings, schools, religious programmes, weddings and even burial attendance must not be in person to person, rather via video conferencing. That is our world today!

What and what has changed in the way you used to do things ? Which among the changes you have made is fascinating, and which one if any is frustrating?

Well, change they say, is the only permanent thing in life.
As for me, attending meetings and even large Christian gatherings via video conferencing is quite thrilling.
The difficult side to me sometimes has to do with poor network connection, which affect the quality of the communication, and issue of power in a lengthy programmes.

The big question is, can we go back to the way things were before the pandemic? It doesn't seem like it's going to happen. The world has moved on with what has now become the "new normal", regardless of whether the pandemic is later declared over or not.

That brings me to a remark a friend made yesterday. May I ask? Have you been vaccinated? You know the issue of vaccination has been on the front burner in the last 10 months or thereabouts.

Government of various countries has been encouraging their citizens to do that as a way of curtailing the spread of the virus. People at different parts of the world, including those in Nigeria have been vaccinated

However, some people who ought to have been eager to receive the vaccines, after all, it's a matter involving their personal lives, but stories upon stories that had been flying around concerning the vaccines, has been a source of worry to them. What about you?

Yesterday, my friend made a remark that, time is coming, when those who had not been vaccinated would be barred from doing certain things in the country. He also hinted that by then, to receive the vaccine may no longer be easy, requiring both much efforts and even huge financial commitment. You know what it looks like when many people are out for a particular thing at the same time. You can the case of NIN registration in Nigeria last year and things like that.

Do you share his sentiment? I have been thinking seriously about this, since he made that disclosure if I may use that word, given that I am yet to receive the vaccine.

I shall be speaking freely...
First I'd like to appreciate the initiative for this post and I must say that you have address nothing but the truth concerning the world changing after the pandemic.
As regards the cure, I am really grateful for the hands that came together on deck to produce this cure.
But I must say this sad truth concerning the orientation for the cure or its administration, Nigeria has not tried for her citizens at alllll
There is low orientation

Just well said, but we have to help ourselves in whatever way we can
