Hi everyone, once again welcome to my blog as I continue with the contest day four, I will be looking at genius David Youggi.

David Youggi Cho was born February 14 1936, South Kyŏngsang Cho was a Buddhist. When he was 17, he suffer from tuberculosis. He was later heald, and crediting his healing to God , he became Christine after a young girl preach Jesus to him.

His education was affected due to financial problem. After his graduation from school, David Yonggi concluded to start a less expensive technical high school to learn a trade because his father’s sock and glove business became bankrupt and he was unable to raise university fee. While learning the trade, David began offten enter American army base near his school, and learned English from soldiers who he became friends. He mastered English fast, and became an translator for the commander of the army base, and for the principal of his school
In 1958 he completed Seoul’s Full Gospel Theological Seminary (which isknown now has Hansei University), which was pioneer by the Assemblies of God Church.

Achievement

He started a tent church on a hillside outside the city, he will spend the night at the tent under the cool weather, with his blanket, by then many Koreans were homeless and jobless as a result of the Korean War. David's message became a news that healings had taken place draw many of the hopeless to the church.As the church increases, Cho moved the church to downtown Seoul and in 1973 a new sanctuary was build on the city’s Yoido Island. Cho, speak in English and Japanese, he also preached the Gospel that were broadcast on television and radio in South Korea, the United States, Japan, and some other places. By 1981 Yoido Full Gospel Church added about 200,000 people, and by ten years of the 21st century it added another 1,000,000 worshippers and has train 700 missionaries which he sent to hundreds of churches all over the nation of the world.Cho start a newspaper, the Kook-min Daily, in 1988. The church operated its own television station (Full Gospel Television), a publishing house, and a Web site. It also undertook many social programs, including a welfare centre in Seoul that provided need for aged ones who had no family support and jobless training to young adults, a recycling drive to source money for children in need of open-heart surgery, and “Bread of Love,” as is called a program providing food to the poor and hungry. Cho served as chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship between 1992 and 2000.
In 2008 Cho stepped down as senior pastor of YFGC. David Yonggi Cho’s Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul is the world’s largest congregation. He author many books which includes

Marriage and children

Dr. David Yonggi Cho’s married on first match 1965 Wife Kim Sung Hae. And are blessed with three children, Cho Hee-jun, Cho Min-je and Cho Seung-je.

Why I chose him/ conclusion

I have never met him physically but he has impacted my life so much, with his tremendous faith and pray life. I was reading his book, he said his first bicycle he has to pray and trust God for it. Everything he ever achieve was prayer and faith in God, he had no one to turn to only God he can look up to a man that understand what ministry is before he got started, I really love and appreciate his life.
