My Diary Game Season 3// How I Spent My Day Attending a Workshop on Tuesday 18th January, 2022. 10% Payout to Steemalive by @de-king

INTRODUCTION

Good news are always good to hear or experience in the early hours of the day.

MORNING
Music from my ringing phone woke me up. My mum had been calling still wondering why why she did so as early as 5:09am, I woke up and picked up the call a bit disturbed just for her to inform that my elder sister had just put to bed. I couldn't stop the smiles because I was filled Joy. Indeed , mum had blessed my morning. What a beautiful way to start a day!
I went in my knees and offered some words of payers to God. From there, I proceed to the bathroom, had my bath, came out of the bathroom, I quickly dressed and headed straight to where I was supposed to have my breakfast.

I served myself, ate and hurried to where I was supposed to have workshop.


The morning session of the workshop began at about 8:00am. It was a workshop for school teachers/non-teaching staff organized by LUX TERRA LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION. That morning, it was more of the introductory session by the founder, Rev.Fr. George Ehusani (The executive Director). The workshop was getting so, so, interesting but a tea break was interrupted at about 11:45am.

AFTERNOON
By 12:2pm, everyone was already settled in the hall waiting for the next resource person to continue. I learnt a lot from the workshop. I learnt to appreciate my work as a teacher, despite the numerous challenges faced by teachers especially in Nigeria. I learnt that teachers are also parents to the learners.
We were all educated on integrity, honesty, spirituality, truthfulness, justice, fairness, modesty, accountability, purity and meekness of hear, gentleness of spirit, calmness of the soul, self control and self mastery/management.
We were also enlightened on how to present or appear before students/learners as it has negative or positive effects.
Serious emphasis were placed on anger control and how to handle learners when you are angry. I got to understand that patience is really necessary when dealing with learners, students or children. It was indeed and educating, interesting and informative session but it had to come to an end.

EVENING
At exactly 5:00pm, the workshop came to an end and I went back to my hotel room. I freshened up and went the restaurant to have my dinner. I was served Ebba and Egusi soup which gained me back my energy that I had lost during the workshop.
After my meal, I went back to my hotel room then picked up my phone, a memory hit my thoughts that I have forgotten to call my elder sister that gave birth at the early hours. I tried calling but her line wasn't connecting so, I called her husband. Hearing his voice, background voice of a crying baby filled my ears. Tears of joy dropped from my eyes. That was a baby girl. I congratulated him and my sister as well, prayed for them and ended the call. I was still tired then I looked at the time on my wrist watch, it was 9:11pm. I changed into my night wears and offered some words of prayer to my God and off to sleep.

CONCLUSION
It was indeed an experience I won't forget in a hurry.
