Diary Game Season 3// How I Spent My Day Monday 10th January, 2022- 10% pay out to Steemalive

INTRODUCTION
My day was a red-letter day, one of the painful moment of my life and that of my family, filled with grieved because my uncle Mr Elias Iortim passed away and was to be buried.

MORNING
After our cleaning in the morning, we dressed and waited for the pastor and elders of the church. They arrived at about eight o'clock in the morning. Some of us left for mortuary to collect our uncle's body by nine o'clock. When we got there, the corpse was already bathed and dressed. We got the corpse laid in the coffin and headed back home.
When we got home, people were already seated while some were arriving for the burial ceremony. The head of our family did Introduction where he introduced some key personalities that came for the burial. After the introduction I was called upon to read my late uncle's biography on behalf of the family. His friends and some of his colleagues were called upon for testimonies.
After the whole section of the introduction and testing, the Rev. Of his church, Rev. Agwa ST gave his message taking his reading from the book of 1corinthians chapter 15 verses 20-22 and 24. Where he emphasized on the raising to life of those died in Christ are only sleeping because the perishable needs to die for the imperishable to be raised to glory. He also said that death has loosed it's grip when we die in Christ because we will be transfered within the twinkle of an eye in glory with Jesus on the last day. Rev. Agwa ST also admonished everyone alive to tread carefully with our lives in other to attain enternal glory, also warning that anyone still in iniquity should repent.
AFTERNOON
After the burial service, there was a vote of thanks by the family and church members for the honour paid to our deceased.
Some strong youths in the family were asked to carry coffin that contained the corpse leading the way to the grave yard. The Rev. and elders of the church accompanied by other persons followed while the family members joined. At the grave yard we sang hymns which was led by the church choir. After saying a word of prayer, the coffin was lowered down and some members of the family were asked to pour sand as a sign of last respect while the grave was covered.

EVENING
Many people stayed to console the family of the deceased after the burial and after some time they began to leave for their homes, while some decided to stay till the next day.
CONCLUSION
It was so painful loosing a loved one. Amidst the crying and wailing, nothing could be done but accept the fact that what has happened has happened.
