Club 100 My Diary Game// How I Spent My Day on 6th January, 2022 Attending a Child Dedication 19% Payout to Steemalive by @de-king

INTRODUCTION Attending a dedication is a good and exciting thing because those present serve as witnesses and attest to the fact that they will join the parents of the dedicated child to train the child to have good morals.

MORNING/AFTERNOON

At about 5:00am on the 6the February, 2022, we woke up and said our morning prayer. We began to preparation against the dedication of one of friends Son, Mr Sani Benjamin which was to take place that day. After the preparation, we all left for the church service/dedication.
The church service began at about 8:00am with the opening prayer by the moderator after the band group sang some praises to make everyone lively. After that, the hymn was sang and prayers were made by the Reverend in charge of the church council (Ecwa, Angwan Sabi).

Ministrations were rendered to the glory of God, offering was collected and announcement was made. Reverend Emmanuel Joshua who's the Rev. In charge of the church was invited by the secretary for the pastoral greeting. During the greeting, he invited me Sani and his family to move to the alter for the dedication of his son, Ashbel Benjamin. The Reverend made them to answer some questions which were the book he was holding in the presence of God, those standing with Mr Sani and his family members as supporters and the entire congregation as an oath that they the parents will train their son in the way of God and inculcate good morals in their son.
After Mr Sani and his wife had taken the responsibility, the child was prayed for , the parents were prayed for and the entire congregation was asked to rise up as witnesses and as people who will help the parents train the child.

After that the parents signed a certificate of dedication, took some photographs and showed their appreciation to everyone and the service continued.

When the service was over in the afternoon, people were invited to Mr Sani's house for refreshments which they did and then departed to their homes
It was a stressful day but even at that, so much thankful to God for mercies and blessings.

EVENING

When I got home at about 4:25pm, I went to the bathroom, had my bath and and rested for like two hours. Thereafter, I went to watch the finals of African Cup of Nation between Senegal and Egypt. Senegal eventually won 4:2 against Egypt after a penalty shoot out.
I returned he to sleep at 11:2pm.

CONCLUSION

Children are blessings from God. As God gives us children, it's good to still handover the children to God's care.
