My daily dairy , how I teach my son to be helpful in the kitchen 07/05/2022
INTRODUCTION
It high time we try to balance things in our society, because the world is changing rapidly with new things unfolding over time.
Children they say learn faster by the things they see and the things you allow them do by theirself, the boy child, need also to be taught how to help out in the kitchen not only for girls, so that they can fix in the changing world per time.
MORNING
In morning since it was a Saturday and I had much things to do in the morning,we started our prayers early by 5:30am ,we sang and praised God for keeping us alive to see the new day after which we prayed for ourselves, for our family members, for our state and our country Nigeria and never forget to mention steemit platform in my prayers because it has become a house whole name in our house, we looked at our daily manner and learn from it, we finish the prayer and I rushed to church for cleaning because it was my turn to clean
When I finish the cleaning I went home and prepare food for the house, me and my first son in the kitchen, we prepare the meal in a hurry because I had to attend a seminar that same morning.
AFTERNOON
In the afternoon I went to visit my pastor who had a function of needed my help in assisted to serve their visitors in a burial
In that occasion, I met with some old friends and school mate which we share some crypto information that can help us grow, and I told them to of steemit platform
Some of them do not have a phone with all the facilities needed to sign up in steemit, when I finish I went home with my mother and husband because they were in attendance too.
EVENING
In the later part of the day, I asked my children to start bringing out the clothes they will use to church because the next day was Sunday, the clothes were brought for ironing since we had light after that they clean their shoes and we all went to prepare dinner for the house, shortly my husband came home from our farm which he took someone to show.
CONCLUSION
I thank God for the kind of children he has given me and for the strength to show them things they should know now and how to do house chores by themselves so that they will not be a brunden to anyone in the future.

@christybless, you are so right, the world is changing we mothers have to change with time. Teaching our sons how to participate fully in house chores. I have always told my sons same thing, that he may marry oyibo woman who may want him to help in house chores, if he don't know what to do, it's a problem, thanks for this reminder.

I could remember back then, my Mum will call me to go come and assist her in the kitchen, I thought it was wickedness but now I appreciate her for that... Because I can cook very well... Please keep it up oooo... It's a good thing oooo..

It's high time we parents groom not just our female children but the male inclusive. If they do house chores it's not a taboo and nothing will happen to them, instead it shows how reasonable they are.
It's high time stress is really reduced on women.

You are right, it is never to early to learn handy skills like cooking cause everyone eats irrespective of gender. You are doing a good job teaching your kid.
