A 5 Days Contest ,How to prepare a local delicious Meal
INTRODUCTION
Good day house, how was your day, hope it went well, ask of mind, God took charge.
Thank you @steemalive for organizing this contest, which am happy to participate.
Contest like this challenge me and put me to remember many things that could have left me for a long time, expect for occasionally basics.
To we want to look at how to prepare a local dish called Cocoyam and White soup (Ekpong and Afaia efere) as it is called in Akwa-ibom language.
My mother's in-laws taught me how to prepare it for a while now thank God for this contest to remaind me again.
Now to Ingredients use
Cocoyam
Goat meat
Dry fish
Stock fish
Crayfish
Maggie
Pepper
Salt
Perewinkgle
Hot leaf
Method on how to cook
Buy the Cocoyam, cut in bits as you can hold it because it is always long in nature or very fat, then pill it , wash then put it in a pot and boil
This may take about 45 to 60mins as the case maybe, when discover that it's soft, you now pound it in moter for it to get smooth and soft
When that has been achieved, you put in a bowel and close it for it to retain the heat.
Next is wash the meat put in a pot, add your already prepared pepper and onion and stock fish with a club of Maggie with a little salt and steem for a while.
To the white soup preparetion
Add some quatity of the Cocoyam into the pot to the size of the soup were the and stock fish and meat is boiling on the fire, after adding a little water, allow to cook so it can get thick to your choice
By this time it has boiled well, you add your fish, pepper, perewinkgle, Maggie
Don't forget that by this time the soup could be too thick, depending on how you want it, but it will be good if it's a bit lighter so you can add a little more water and then add the hot life and your soup is ready.
Very simple to prepare please try it.
Join me at the table as we do justice to this delicious meal.
Reason for choosing the meal
The reason I choose this meal is that it is an antibiotic for in the body, for those who know the value, here in Akwa-ibom many people pay so much to eat this meal cause of it nutritional value
Another one is that it's good for people who have Diabetes, it helps to stable it, it doesn't have fat in it, it Burns it, it makes one light, the list is endless.
How much I need to prepare it
How much I need to prepare the food depends on how many people that are eating the food, because the price for the cocoyam is costly.
If it's for my house, I couldn't use say four thousand five hundred (4500) which is in steem coin 32 piece
CONCLUSION
Indeed steemit is a platform for everyone, to my husband is very happy to have me give him the food his mother use to cook for him, all thanks to @steemalive, you made my family happy and my mother due to her health challenges.
