Introduction

Good day my fellow steemians I'm so happy to write my diary game.
I'm so happy to be a steemalive member reporting my activities for the day.
It was a stressful day weeping for the death of a loved one.
Loosing a loved one in death is really a painful scenario.

How the day went

It just started by 2 am in the morning when we woke up to finish the preparation of burial interment.

relatives cooking rice.

After cooking the jollof Rice and dishing out, I was asked to foil the rice with meat,
We foiled them and packed them in hundreds.
When we finished foiling, we listened to the burial talk.
The speaker used God's word to console the family of the deceased.
He quoted Revelation chapter 21:4, I qoute

And he will wipe out every tears from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

I was deeply encouraged. God has finally given us a hope of being free from death.
I also learned that Adam's sin led to our despair and suffering but Jesus death has finally redeemed us from such misfortune.
When she was about to be buried, we were all comforted with the resurrection hope. At Job chapter 14:13-15, I quote;

O that in the Grave you would conceal me, That you would hide me until your anger passes by, That you would set a time limit for me and remember me! 14 If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes. 15 You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.

I was relieved a little, If I die faithfully to God he'll remember me to make me live again.
This reminds me Jesus word at John 5:28&29

28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment

I'm so happy that Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ has given us a hope we hold so dear.
The resurrection hope us not a falacy, it's real and will be fulfilled by the one who is faithful and true.
Mama is about to be buried and see how human life can be?
It withers away like the grasses of the earth.

Relatives were all around to witness this and weep with those who're weeping.

We all cried and comfort ourselves, "this is the time to have a good relationship with God".
I think, I told myself, since the living know that they'll die and the dead knows nothing at all said by one wise and inspired book, Wouldn't it be wise to live a life of Godly devotion, inorder to safeguard my life in God's hand?
