Special greetings to all members of steemalive community. I'm excited to participate in S2w4 contest titled, the worst day and the happiest day of my life.
Life to me is a journey. As a journey, the road is not always smooth. Sometimes, it gets really tough, so tough that it takes the grace of God and the love of people around us to keep us going.
I have always known that nothing last forever, there is time for everything in life. Time to be happy and time to cry. I have had lots of ups and down in life. In all I am grateful I was able to come out stronger no matter the situation I found my self.

WORST DAY OF MY LIFE

I had this uncle that stays in Lagos. He was a business man. He sells upholstery material in wholesale. He has a very big shop. After my senior secondary certificate examination, I decided to travel to his place in Lagos. When I first told my parents I wanted to go to Lagos for holiday, they bluntly refused.
My parents never allowed I and my siblings to vacation at our relatives house. I didn't really know there reasons for that though. This time I was really tired of staying at home, and I needed a change of environment. I begged and begged my parents before they finally agreed.
I was really excited because I would be visiting Lagos for the first time in my life. I called my uncle and told him the day I will be coming.

That faithful day, my dad took me to ITC park in owerri, and I borded a bus going to Lagos. I had this small Nokia torch phone I was using to contact my uncle. Before we got to the park in Lagos, my uncle was already waiting for me. He was very happy I was visiting this family for the first time. When we got to his house, I called my parents to inform them of how my journey went. My uncle's wife prepared a delicious rice and stew for me. They gave me a very warm reception and I felt at home.

After spending one month at my uncle's house, he decided I should be following him to his shop everyday, instead of staying at home doing nothing. I agreed. At his shop, he had three (3) apprentice and they were all boys. I was not doing much work in the shop. Within two months I was already getting familiar with the places. I could go to shop on my own and come back home too.

One day, as I was going to shop, one man met me and said he wanted to buy upholstery fabric. After having that conversation with him, I didn't know what happened again, I went to where my uncle keeps money and carried all the money I saw at the drawer, about five hundred thousand naira to the man that talked to me. I was very careful to avoid being seen when I was taking the money. After giving the man all the money I got, I came back to the shop and acted as if nothing happened. I didn't even realize what was happening to me.
After about 6hours, my uncle asked one of his apprentice to go and deposit the money in the bank. He couldn't find any money. He asked every one of us in the shop, we all denied.

My uncle called the police to arrest his apprentice. That was when I started crying and started explaining what happened. My uncle was very disappointed. He called my parents and told them what I did. I felt so ashamed of myself. My uncle punished me. Yes, I acted under the influence of a charm. But I was so embarrassed. I cried for so many days, and refused eating anything.

Well, after some weeks the man was caught and arrested. He confessed that I was not his only victim. Finally, he paid for all the money he got from me. Uptil this moment that incident has never left my memory. That was the worst day of my life.

The happiest day of my Life

The happiest day of my life was the day I wrote my final exam in higher institution. Schooling in Nigeria institution is not really an easy task. Alot of undergraduates look forward to their graduation day. And I was definitely one of those. It was my final year examination and I was excited and couldn't wait to sign out officially. On the day of the exam, I worn my crested vest, jacket, Jean trouser and canvas. That was my departmental official signout wear.

The course we were writing that day was a 4 unit credit course. Even though everyone was in the spirit of celebration, I was studying very hard for that exam too. In the exam Hall, our invigilators were very strict. After 3hours we were done with the exam, and then jubilation started. Everyone was happy. People were pouring water and zobo to the lastest graduates. It was all fun and exciting. After that my coursemate gather together and we had a very serious prayer session. We snapped alot of pictures. Funny enough I lost all my pictures when my phone was stolen last year.

When I got home that day, my clothe was so wet. The first person I called at home was my mom, she was very excited.I removed my clothes and had my birth. After some minutes my friend came around. He took me and my girlfriend out. It was all fun for me. And I was very happy. That very day I stayed out very late, I couldn't come back to my hostel because it was already late. I slept over at my friend's place.

Project defense with my friend.

After two days, I defended my project and that marked the end of my undergraduate days .

Conclusion.

My worst day taught me a very big lesson in life. I learnt from my mistake. After that day I stopped talking or replying to strangers while on walking on the road.
Thank you everyone for coming through my blog. I want to invite @cinnymartins @rosz @ebunoluwani to partake in this contest as well.
Thank you!

Nobi small charm ooo. This one fear me o. You where under charm and you give out 500,000 to the thief? Am happy he was later cought and he paid back the money he collected from you.

Wow thank God for your life, most people got kidnapped from that single act. And thank God it was just money he was after. And this is indeed a call to strengthen your prayer life because with God no harm can come near us.

And also a big congratulations to you on your graduation from the university.

Wow! I still cant wrap my head around the fact that compelling charm is still in existence. This is a barrier to freedom that we are supposed to be enjoying.

I am happy that the person was caught.

Also, I can't wait to leave the institution and stop worrying about ASUU strike.

Yes dear. Is still in existence.
I just pray we don't fall victim.

As for ASUU strike I hope it ends soon.
Thank you for engaging in my post.
